I'm about 1.5 years into learning the Thai language and I am looking into ways I can do a homestay with the native Thai family (preferably in Northern Thailand). I'd like to be in a place where spoken English will not be an option, so I can fully immerse into the culture and improve my spoken Thai. 1-3 months. I searched through Google, but couldn't find any reliable websites. Has anyone done this before?

If asked เป็นยังไงบ้าง (Bpen yang ngai baang) by a Thai person you know, what kinds of variations can you use to answer the question?

When someone asks สบายดีไหม (Sabai dii mai) the answer seems quite structured - I feel good, I feel bad, etc. But with เป็นยังไงบ้าง I feel you can go with a lot more directions / slang / etc. Anything people usually reply with?

I 90-day reported on ED visa a few days ago.

Fill out the form, wait for your number, hand them your passport, 2 mins later they hand it back. No quiz, you'll be fine.

I've also been interested in finding a volleyball league or pickup games. Some other people have mentioned the universities but I haven't seen anything yet.

Hi all,

As of now I am on an Education Visa in Chiang Mai that finishes on Nov. 8. In my passport there is a 90-day reporting due on Oct. 27. I will be leaving the country on Nov. 8 to Laos to hand in the paper work for a new ED Visa with a different school. My question is, do I still report the 90 day to immigration even tho my visa expires a week after the reporting? Thanks for the help!
