Sounds like a cool party, I'll have to come and enjoy the beer special. I won't be wearing the sexiest costume tho.

One of our favorite time in the U.S.A. is Halloween. Dressing up wearing Freddy Kruger or Nixon masks and going to the costume parties. Are there any Halloween parties in CM this year? Parties for kids (I have two) or just for adults would be fine. Love to have a scary good time.

Looks like they're is no Jailbreak for 4.1 yet but you don't need to with an iPhone 4 from AIS, True and Dtac.

Did you turn "Notifications" to on in your settings? Make sure they're off along with your push email. If your not using iOS 4.0 yet try changing your APN entries to a fake one in your Network settings. This will disable your internet. If you have iOS 4.0 or later you can easily toggle Cellular Data on or off in the settings.

You can add in USB flashdrive to augment system memory, by plugging it in and going into its properties - Readyboost and dedicate it to Readyboost.
Win 7 32-bit can accept 4GB flashdrive and 64-bit can accept 8GB.
The 4Gb restriction only applies to Vista. Win 7 32 & 64 bit versions allows much more.

They're closed for registration now, at least when I just tried.

No problems with Facebook here with 3BB in Chiang Mai.

Just bought a HK iPhone 4 16Gb from MBK for 29,000 baht yesterday. New in box, shrink wrapped with the accessories. Phone and model number checks out fine. Saw some white ones too but I didn't check them out.

I live around your area. My experience with providers in Thailand is that TOT is the worst and that CAT's Hi-net is the best. Unfortunately, TRUE is not in our area. That leaves 3BB in the middle. Hi-net rates are high and they're restrictive about networking your home. I have 3BB and it's okay. Avoid the "indy" 5Mb and go for the 12Mb or higher plan. Their 5Mb Premier service promises to be the best for torrents, VPNs, bandwidth reliability etc., but it's 2,500 baht per month. You can easily upgrade if you need to with 3BB. Don't make your expectations too high though.

5,800 Baht is too much for me. Khorat airport (NAK) has been a white elephant since it "opened". A couple of airlines have tried to make a go at it but couldn't make it feasible. The airport is still about a 30 minute drive into town. I give Happy Air about 3 months.

I am not even sure 3BB is throttling torrents but sounds like an interesting suggestion, I'll try that. I FTP only once in a blue moon so the FTP port is usually available, good idea.
3BB is throttling my torrents, big time.
Some private trackers ban using that port.

Try posting this in the "Internet, computers, communication, technology" forum in Thai Visa.

I usually get the best prices on either Sawadee or Agoda. You can't expect to receive the lowest rate and enjoy generous cancellation policies at the same time. I've had great service from both.

It would appear not just TOT.
I am using a previously very fast test torrent on U torrent It is very very slow now
I am with 3BB
Something is going on.
3BB Pattaya....all torrents acting normally, both private and public...currently downloading 6 torrents at a speed of 1.2mb/sec and uploading 20 at a speed of 1mb/sec. I suggest your problem is something else.
What 3bb plan are you using. My 3BB s*cks today. I'm in Chiang Mai

No problem here in CM. I'm on 3BB and using Firefox.

That 28,500 baht fare probably doesn't earn mileage. You can book it that way through a travel agent.

I guess these travelers never had a Bangkok Tuk Tuk take them to the "Happy Buddha" for 300 baht(there is no Happy Buddha). I've been ripped off by Tuk Tuks in Bangkok and I've talked to other travelers about their Tuk Tuk horror stories. Now, the Tuk Tuks in Chiang Mai are great. Used them often and always got a great fare, plus it's kinda fun.

3BB offers a package that comes with a static IP for 2900 baht per month. TOT might offer a package for SMEs that includes a static IP. I've had bad luck with TOT tho. Static IPs don't come cheap nowadays.

I've asked nearly the same question before on this forum and received no responses. I wish there was a carpet/rug steam cleaner out there in CM. Don't know if you can steam clean a silk rug tho.

I cannot connect to my VPN through a pptp connection. I'm on 3bb. I'm able to connect to my VPN through my AIS 3G dongle so it's 3bb blocking it or something. Frustrating!
My VPN is now working...give it another try. What an absolute balls up this 3BB company are, there have been so many problems over the last month or so.
My VPN works this Tuesday morning, thanks. Service has gone downhill ever since they changed their name from Maxnet.

I'm having the same issues with torrents on my 3BB 4Mb premier. Even well seeded torrents from a private tracker are slow going. It's only torrents, download speeds from other sources are fine. Is 3BB limiting torrents? I can see that happening if I'm subscribing to their cheap "indy" service, but I'm paying good money for their "Premier" service. I noticed they stopped offering Premier services below 5Mb.
