  1. The credit card should be sent to the address on the account. Personally, I would stay out of this situation.
  2. As Ubonjoe stated, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the proper place to have any document translations certified for legal use in Thailand and the US. But there may be additional paperwork required to qualify the document for legal use in the US. This process is referred to as document authentication. I have had documents from the US authenticated for use in Thailand. I have not authenticated Thai documents for use in the US. You might want to check what additional documentation is needed to have the document fully accepted in the US. As an example, my marriage license required an attachment from the Secy of State of the state where I was married and an attachment from the State Department. Finally, I needed an attachment from the Thai embassy in the US. So, at a minimum, an attachment from the US embassy, and maybe more, may be needed to make your documents legal in the US. Don
  3. You are focused on the benefits of registering your marriage in your home country. I tend to focus on reasons for doing something. For me, the main reason would be that it makes my life easier moving between two countries. Registering my marriage in my home country was the first step that leads to permanent residency and citizenship. There are spousal benefits available to my wife upon my death because of the registration of our marriage.
  4. Charlie, FDA stands for Food and Drug Adminstration. As I understand it, these profiles would be use to show active cultures and the safety of a product. But your desire for analysis of you microbial biome is an interesting idea. Best Wishes, Don
  5. I checked with my wife and Chulalongkorn can perform the analysis for you. Contact me if you need further information.
  6. My wife is a PhD candidate in microbiology at Chulalongkorn University. From what I know about her program, I would think you could obtain the analysis you need at any of the Thai universities that have good science departments that offer graduate programs in microbiology. Some suggestions are Chulalongkorn, Mahidol, and Thammasat. I am sure there are others.
