Do not waste a bullet, turn him loose in general prison population and make sure they know what he did.

In my humble opinion KK has some of the worst drivers in Thailand and a big traffic problem. This will interesting to see how they train these taxi drivers.

Thai's also run hospitals, in most cases, better than the USA.

The only path needed is deport all the illegals right now and stop calling them undocumented, they are illegal pure and simple and broke the law. And while they are at it stop that silly law that allows a child born in the US to obtain citizenship regardless of the parent citizenship. Almost no country does that except the USA. In most countries in the world work permits are used for nationals from other countries and it has nothing to do with citizenship. It should be the same way in the USA

There is a condo just outside Bkk with a new Lotus that has been parked in the underground parking in the same spot for around a year. It just collects dust, I wonder................

I always like it when a bit of good news comes across

We just registered at the government office, the wife said no reason to waste money on a village marriage or party. I hope you have the house in a company name and do not do the joint bank account thing

Everything I see nearly near is almost a new price. Just have a bit of engine trouble or buy a wrecked rebuild by accident and your cost savings are gone. I think buy new or old. No almost newDon't buy new. Buy near new and save the money!

As long as you do not make a habit of sending her parents money, and she gets a job once she improves her english, then you stop the allowance you are ok with more common sense than the average farang

I bet they mean they expect to lose 300,000 customers, not gain them. TrueVisions have terrible programing that is only exceeded in poor quality by their service. On top they are 3 times the going price.

The US Embassy is terrible. Booking online for a simple thing like extra pages in a passport and high cost for any paperwork plus a "dont care attuide". I had some dealing with the Canadian embassy and they are streets ahead of the US

I thought Thailand, and most countries say you must have a passport valid for 6 months to eneter the country but I guess since they are Thai passports that rule does not apply

Came in a few days ago. They checked me in the arrival. This has happened several time over the last few years. Seems the main concern is cigarettes.

A bit off subject but do you really think medical care in the USA is better than Thailand? Other than maybe a special issue like cancer or a spinal injury I fully disagree. I bet some other posters disagree also.

Give drug offenders death and it solves the cost issue

I do not think Thailand has the debt load that the USA has even if prorated out as debt per person. It is a world wide thing, not just Thailand, and made worse by cheap interest loans and no or low down payments. Bring the minimum down payments on cars & houses to 50% in every country in the world and watch the default rate go down. In the USA it is possible for a 50 year old man to get a 30 year house loan. How does that make any sense. It is not just the Thai households having increasing debts. The country itself has a massive increase in government debts incurred by the previous government.
Economic growth then was based on increasing debts, similar to what China did and is still doing, abet on a smaller scale.

Why would you want to? You have to assume that the residents have done something very wrong so why would you mess with seeing them. All you will hear is how unfair it is that I got 50 years for getting caught with 2 kilos of cocaine.......bla bla.
Watch the Discovery Channel film BANGKOK HILTON and call it your "Visit".

I love the new Fords/Madzas. They are the best pick ups on the road by far but.............any pick up, and more so the HI-Rider types are a roll over hazard. Most goverments in western countries test vehicles overall and give them a STAR rating. I guess one could research all these goverment sites and try to figure out which of the better safety rated ones are sold in Thailand. Now just because the Ford XXXX or Nissan YYYYY is sold in say Europe and Thailand it does not mean they are the same exact model even if they look the same. This goes down to the spec on air bags, door crash reinforcement, etc. Different countries have different spec and it can be hard to figure out what is what. I bought a 2008 Ford Edge in the middle east then thought about shipping a few months later to North American. Ford ended up sending me the Cert of Conformity with lots of words & the official stamp but trying to tie specs together is not easy.Something big with allot of mass and decent safety kit...the top-spec Ford Ranger comes to mind...lots of mass and 6 airbags. All Nissan Teanas, even lowest spec, come with 6 airbags as well. I'm looking at the Teana. The Volvo XC-60 would be nice but over 3M baht is just too much.
