  1. Hey,

I have to go to probably Sukhumvit 100 (something) to renew my 2555 sticker for 2556 one and renew the C class insurance. As I never did it before, I want to know what kind of hassles I need to expect. I plan to go there on Saturday morning.

What time they open up on a Saturday?

I bring my car, the Blue book and?

    How long wil it take?

    What are the potential hassles?

    Any tips, hints, suggestions?

    Thx in advance,

    C.

  2. Cathy appears not to get it.

    Canardo reads poorly.

SlideRiceFC gets it, although his name is mysterious.

    My work is done here.

    Over and OUT.

So, if you are so clever and know that it goes on beyond Pattaya, I wonder why not mention other cities, but maybe you and your brain is stuck in Pattaya. English is not everyones first language, most of people learn it / have to learn it, because of the majority of mothertongue english speakers cannot speak any second or even third language...

  3. Cathy - Sukhumvit is one of the longest continuous roads in Thailand. It starts at Soi 1, near Ploenchit, and ends past Pattaya. Since you have asked for a number of services 'on Sukhumvit', it might be good to specify a range of sois convenient to where you live.

    Eh?

Not true, Sukhumvit does not end in Pattaya, it continues at least until Rayong...

    LOL

  4. suk 26 but closer to rama 4 rd, a cannondale shop, just google

chitlom, intersection rajdamri / rama 1, 3rd floor above mcd, a mixed shop

rama 4 (not suk, but not that far away either) u-chu-liang bld (between silom and sathorn) a specialized 7 campagnolo shop

sarasin rd (between rajdamri and wittayu) a trek shop

ALL SHOPS ARE PROFESSIONAL, but I reco the cannondale shop or the specialized / campagnolo shop!!!

    good luck

  5. There is a German Dentist in Pattaya, who claims to be the first officially operating foreign dentist in Thailand.

He had to go many extra miles to get the permission to work in Thailand as a doctor, even though he had all papers from Germany and USA, he had to do most of it again in Thailand to get certificated, speaking and writing Thai fluently is essential as you have to pass as well an oral / spoken test here...

Here is the website of that dentist (no advertising):

Maybe you contact him for advise!

    Good luck!

  6. Yes it still exist and there are vendors with vespa and lambretta parts, indian and taiwan origin, but hardly italian origin.

What exactly are you looking for?

There are shops in China Town specialized on spare sparts of very good quality...

  7. back to the future cars, if you mean real Deloreans were made of steel.

Well, yes, they have a original Delorean in polished / brushed metal finish, I thought it was aluminium...

  8. Pls google JESADA Bangkok, it is a private collector with a huge collections of vintage motorcycles, cars, helicopters and even planes. He has one of the very few "back to the future" cars made from aluminium.

Worth to go, but do not expect a professional air conditioned museum, most of the cars and bikes are rusted and not show room condition...

It is about 40 KM West of BKK close to the Buddhamonthon Statue, worth to go and see as well...

    Cheers,

    C.

  9. NORTHERN SOUL PATTAYA

Google it, you may like it...

    Cheers,

    C.
