Just had some building work done and the builders have made a bit of a mess of my lawn. Looks like i will have to dig up about 10 square meters and replace.
Was just going to buy replacement turf and lay it down. Any tips for the correct way to do this would be appreciated.

Have just had a roof fitted over the outside Thai Kitchen and it is leaking where the gutter meets the outside wall of the property.
Our builder has been back to re-seal under the gutter, he just used a tub of acrylic sealant and smeared it between the wall and the underside of the gutter. There are still some small leaks, especially when it tips down like it has recently.
Any recommendations for a good sealing product and tips on how best to get it to seal properly ?

Anyone know how to get to Suvarnabhum Oriental Resort from Lat Krabang train station?
Or would I be better getting off the train at the airport and get a shuttle to Lat Krabang?
Get the airport link to Lat Krabang station, then taxi to your hotel, it's only a few km's. Have never had any issue with taxis there and should cost less than 100 Baht.

Seems to me it's those posters who have already left that appear the most bitter.
Threads full of them, telling us that stay, how bad Thailand is and how great their lives are back home, if it's that great why do they waste their time posting on a forum all about Thailand ?

But that's their business model, intentionally so, and always has been.
If you knew your way round the store you would see there are many shortcuts that mean you can avoid walking through the whole store.
The new store at Bangyai is also the first where you are able to pay on all levels, not just the end.

it's a tough ask and Australia still good favourites, but our Batsmen owe our Bowlers a performance.
If you break it down it's less than 2 an over , both Bairstow and Moeen can bat and both score quickly which will put pressure on their Bowlers, but Root will have to carry his bat i think.
Yeah i know, wishfull thinking...be all over after the first session,

I think overall a poor showing from England. They had good opportunities during this test to really put pressure on the Aussies, but bottled it.
Some of the shots they played in getting out were shocking. Our leading run scorer ever, getting out hooking, what was he thinking.
I feel the inevitable Aussie win will give them the confidence they have lacked and it's going to be a long series for us English supporters.
I hope i am totally wrong.

Our Sales staff get 8000 baht a month car allowance. They all have better cars than me so must be enough.

How do i need to do this? Go thai embassy in London?
Not sure if your not in Country. We had a package with the Hospital and they took care of the Birth certificate, just had to supply them with my translated name, i did not get the translation certified.
Ask your Girlfriend to ask at the Hospital.

Ok thanks. If anyone knows what iC Is referring to and you have a link or an image I'd really appreciate your input.
If you buy from one of the big chains they will offer you a cover. I bought from Powerbuy and they had 3 different sizes and i managed to get it chucked in for free, mind you the machine was a bit pricey.
Regarding the electric cover i believe it refers to the plug socket. It should be a proper outside socket and these have a hinged plastic shield to protect it from the elements.I would think if the property is fairly new any outside supply would be of this spec.

Run a hdmi from your laptop to tv.
Mine wouldnt work on my Android tv box but i can project my screen from samsung phone to samsung tv

I could do that but i prefer to use my laptop for other things while watching the football. I also downloaded the APP to my media box but that didn't play either.
I will try your phone suggestion, failing that a spare laptop seems to be my best option.

So I have subscribed for the 200 Baht a month deal but can't get it to work on my tv's internet. I can open the website and change between tabs but it will not play live.
On my laptop it works fine, any ideas ?

Where do you get the BEIN Connect at 200 Baht ? Have just checked their website and the package is $18, that's closer to 600 Baht a month.

My wife got a mortgage based on my salary at the start of this year through Bangkok Bank. She had not been working for over a year due to being pregnant. We could only borrow 90% of the asking price and the loan was for 10 years.
We had been looking to buy for over a year and a friends wife who works in Banking advised us to show movement in the wife's account so when we were renting i paid the rent into her account and she then paid it out.

Wait until you have any building work done, you will soon become accustomed to Mai Mee's twin sister, Mai Dai!

Judging by his posting history i would say the OP writes most of his stories from his bedsit in Bradford.
