  1. You don't need a passport to be Thai
  2. ได้สัญชาติไทย
  3. https://ratchakitcha.soc.go.th/search-result
  4. At Seapines, tourists pay 2500 green fee, residents 1500, Thais 1000. There are a few golf courses I know that don't tell foreigners about reduced price for Thais, and I only found out by asking.
  5. Ever heard of hitting someone while they are down? I lived here for 20 years with no insurance.
  6. Wow, no mention that Chuwit used to own massage parlours. Things are looking up.
  7. Probably from London, they mix up their 'subject-verb agreement'.
  8. There are, but they don't know, or are scared to enquire. You must earn 40,000 baht a month, which stops a few I know for applying.
  9. Married to local, Work Permit, paying tax for 3 years. It is a great deal. Much easier than many think, don't even need to speak Thai, like many think.
  10. 'stalk' or 'groom' would have been a better choice.
  11. trap? I most certainly don't want Thailand to become woke. I said I would rather I was not discriminated because of my colour.
  12. Farang means of person of white colour. I showed my Thai ID, and was told I din't have a face like the guy taking the money. Really, he said, 'you don't have a face like mine'(in Thai language). If this happened in the woke USA, he's probably be fired, or even go to jail.
  13. Absolutely, there is little racism in the USA now, but there are plenty of people shouting about it. In my understanding, racism is when a dominant part of society benefits at the expense of another group. People of colour in the USA are about 50%. Maybe they called themselves that to stop racism, as blacks/asian/latinos individually are minorities.
  14. I was refused Thai price at a golf course two months ago, based on my skin colour.
  15. Doesn't mean much, as he's South African
  16. I've been here too long, I need a trip abroad to put things in perspective,
  17. Is she a prostitute?
  18. No, I like to play at 2 pm, or 10 am at earliest
  19. Also, I could become a member at Royal Hua Hin, near my house, foreigners can't join. This is only one benefit, they're are many more, like being able to own land. For a 5,000 baht fee, totally worth getting Thai citizenship. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
  20. The money I save at the golf course per month, compared to what foreigners pay.
  21. Of course it is in Thai. There are not many over the last 3 years, maybe 300 males. Ask a literate person to help you.
