  1. So you don't get quizzed when you go solo? I always get hassled by the touts saying you'll need paperwork. Getting on the boat everyone's passports are handled by someone which made me think all the people were part of group. cheers
  2. I did it 2 mths ago. I paid 2k for smooth proceedings or you can bring paperwork to avoid cost if they ask. Hit and miss what they say.
  3. Hi, Just to be clear, is the slate wiped clean each new calendar yr so if you've had 2 land crossings back per back leading up to 2024, then doing your next one in 2024 by land is allowed? Tks
  4. Yes, that's ending soon. I do have a question though. My first attempt to come back the same day at arranyaprathet (not been here a few yrs) was refused and a red stamp of some sort detailing this in thai iwas entered into pp. I still have only entered by land once at Ranong, but I wonder if the first refused attempt will be counted as a cancelled entry, and uses up one of these land entries?
  5. Thanks, it went ok but doing it without a tour or tout required all the paper work, I was told. That was my first visa exemption entering by land, trips been extended so going one last time tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
  6. Last time i went to Ranong in oct there were new laminated signs telling foreigners to have all there paper work or else. Kicker was obviously to pay a guy to avoid all that. I didn't have all the flight/bank work etc wjhether or not it wld have come to that so paid 2k People say u can breeze up, slip out and in which is what attracts u, but for all its serenity everyone i spoke to was with a tour and I can't see how u cld do so casually solo if you are not giving the imm off his cut, u will stand out. Smooth though :D
  7. You will need to stay the night. After all the queueing you will be turned around and given a red stamp in your passport explaining this and told to come back tomorrow. Plus you'll have an almighty headache if you've just been stamped out of Cambodia (I don't know whether this forfeits one of your land entry borders). Never again.
  8. Bit rusty on this, but am I right in saying you can only have 2 straight visa exemption stays a year? I flew in, got first visa ex. then extended 30 days. I then exited by land and flew back in and extended again for 30 days. I know only 2 land entries are permitted a yr, but by air on visa exempts, not sure. I'm looking to stay just one more mth. Thanks all,
