Perhaps that's why they are building the underpass, so that accidents like this don't happen. Just hope that users of the underpass know how to swim, when it is flooded !!

It was Samoa that changed to driving on the left, not American Samoa. They still adhere to the American way. Must be confusing for the Samoans that may travel from Samoa to American Samoa regularly !!!!

Just read in the NZ Herald an item that a group of British MP's are suggesting that warning labels should be put on wine bottles. So it is not only a Thai thing. I do agree that enforcement of existing laws would help to overcome the high road toll.

I think it's a great idea to encourage Thais to drink more cows milk. Just think how it would increase the exports of New Zealand, with the largest dairy company in the world to promote the sales.

Is it possible the government were under pressure from the car manufacturers that lost hundreds of new cars in the floods to come up with a scheme that would result in selling more of their new cars ? I agree about the traffic jams. I was in Bkk yesterday going from the Government offices compound to Mo Chit and the traffic was impossible.

I bought a new motor cycle and waited 3 months to get a number plate. Turns out the Thai lady in charge of this was waiting for me to give her some "Tea money". The supervisor in the office heard of my problem and hey presto, the plate was suddenly found !!!!

Bail refused for these two, but Red Bull guy gets bail ??? Money talks again, Huh ?

I have a flu shot every year in New Zealand I am still alive and will continue to have the shot each year, better than getting the flu and no, I have not had any repercussions from them.

I have a number of small objects ( for want of a better description) fixed to walls of my home. I have just watched a live one, about 1.2 cm long, about 3 m/m wide and brown to grey in colour, using its head (?) to pull itself up a tiled wall surface, move sideways and downwards. After a time they seem to stop and stagnate. I have a number of these in a part of my bedroom, 2 in my bathroom and no doubt others I have not located. They have been variously decribed as poop from chingchok (?) but that would not move ! and cockroach eggs. But I discount both especially the last one, as I checked on Google re cockroach eggs and there is no similarity.
