Yes, in SaKaeo in December 2022. My wife was outside and they called her in and asked her some questions. Then they had her sign a copy or her Thai ID. If they switch to medical only, there will be dozens of doctors ready to hand out the certificates to purchase the "medicine". That's what happened when the first states in the US approved medical marijuana. Go to a local 420 friendly clinic, get your certificate, and then off to the dispensary. I think it was $60 to get a certificate when it first was approved in my state. All you had to do was check the anxiety or insomnia box on the registration form.

3 months to the day, we got notice that the white plates are "in the mail". They sent a picture of the plates and the blue book. Woohoo! We have been calling them once a week.

I got my 1st ever marriage extension in December at SaKaeo immigration. They gave us the laundry list on our 1st visit, and we gathered everything on the list. They didn't like my bank book statement copy because there were no recent transactions. So, I did a small withdrawal, redid the copy, and returned. They told us to come back in a month. Immigration came to our home to take photos of us, and they sent the application up the chain for approvals. Really no problem, except that 1 month wait. I kept telling the wife I would have to leave if they didn't approve it. ???? When we returned 1 month later, my passport was stamped with the extension! Mission Accomplished! Everyone at the SK office was very nice, and very helpful. No hassles at all. ????????

We bought a new Ford Explorer in Bangkok in November from a Ford dealer. Still no white plates. I have driven it to some different provinces without knowing that was an issue. I have gone through dozens of check points, which could have been trouble because we were outside of our home province. I don't drive it at night. My Thai wife bought the truck in her name, I am Farang, and I am the only driver. I hate the red plates, precisely because it says "steal me, I am brand new". I want the white plates! I see that going to the DLT was recommended. I guess I will try that next. Is it the dealer or buyers responsibility to acquire the white plates? The dealer keeps saying they are working on it. Why not drive into the lagoon? If the GPS said to do it, there must be an invisible bridge that will get you to the other side! ????

Makro and Tops for good quality produce! And you don't have to buy the produce in bulk at Makro. Only place I have been able to find button mushrooms and good lettuce. Tesco/Lotus needs to up their produce game.
