My wife works for the Thai Revenue Dept and said it depends on the source of the income.

I disagree with the attempt to limit bandwidth in the US.. Thailand has been cutting back for years. Especially internationally.
If you pay for 100MBs down are you getting it on a consistent basis? I think NOT..

People complain about Thai vs Foreigner pricing.. Though I have never had an issue a read about complaints about Lazada. Haven't heard of any Attorney letters or law suits.
Keep in mind, free speech seems to be a myth...
The bottom line.. anyone can sue anyone

The old chestnut rears it's head again. Wasn't it only recently the chief of immigration said that it was not necessary?
Get your facts straight.. This is what he said..
Failure to carry your original passport may result in a 2,000-baht fine. ... He said tourists would not have to carry their original passports and expats could use a Thai driving license if they have one, and a photocopy of their passport as a form of identification.Oct 6, 2014 -
Take your passport. Technically, you are required to keep it with you by law.

@ubonjoe is correct. SS mandates that you report your current address.
Once you do, you will receive a yearly update form which needs to be returned.

There are NO Apple owned stores in Thailand today. They are all dealers.
Apple has announced they will be opening an Apple owned store in BKK in the very near future..

You're use is so limited. go Android. Why pay Apple prices to check your email.. You can get the New Xiaomi MI A1 for under 8000B
-
I suggest you check the Xiaomi MI A1. It's pure Android and under 8000B

I renewed my 5 year DL about 9 months ago and only had to show my existing DL.

Looks to me not a purebred Shitsu. Probably a Poodle Shitsu mix.
Affectionately known as a Pooshit.

I have 3BB fibre.. no issue streaming. Exactly what are you trying to do?
-
+1 I use 3bb 200 fibre and rarely have a problem.

I may have to go 3BB, only problem is you have to pay a year in advance, as well as buy the modem, all up around 11,000 baht.
I have 3BB Fibre. I paid a reasonable fee for the Modem, as you do with all the other providers, but was not required to pay a year in advance. They bill me monthly.

The letter should be free. I have never heard of an embassy charging for it.
I just got my new passport in the mail this week. Enclosed was a letter from the US Embassy to Thai Immigration asking that my entry stamp be transfered to my new passport.

So it's a Samsung Smart TV then, since you mention it having internet connectivity and built-in apps? Do Samsung Smart TVs sold here come with access to Samsung's own proprietary app store for TVs, or they just come with a set of preinstalled apps that you can not add to?
If the Samsung TVs are using Samsung's own app store, how's the range of apps available from Samsung compared to the broader Android TV store? And can you access apps/services intended for audiences outside Thailand, like apps specifically for U.S. (Amazon, Hulu) or UK services (BBC, etc)?
It depends on the model. Some Sammy TV's come with Google PS and some with Tizen. From reviews, the new Tizen TV's work great and have a good selection of Apps.
IMO, if you have Android phones you would want the TV Android as well. Keep it simple..
Personally, I use a MAC, an LG Smart TV with an Android box and Chromecast plugged into it. LG's App store sucks, but their TV screens are hard to beat.
I bought my LG 55" 4K TV from Lazada when HomePro was selling it for 99,000 and Lazada for 30,000. Should have bought 2.....

Jai Dee gave you some great advise.
You may want to look at the One Alliance Build. IMO it's the best.

Build updates are very important. 1Alliance updates frequently.
If you need any assistance, give me a shout

Chromecast is your best option. You can stream anything on your PC screen to your TV. Your TV must have an HDMI port.. B1750.

Bangkok Bank Online Interbank Funds Transfer - No Can?
in Chiang Mai
Posted
Glad you got it resolved.. You can always use PromtPay. and all you need to enter is your mobile phone number..
http://www.scb.co.th/en/personal-banking/promptpay
BTW, I have used Bangkok Bank for 10 years as they provide the easiest way for me to transfer funds from the US. BUT, when paying bills online, BKK Bank charges 20 - 25 Baht for each payment.
Last week I opened an account with SCB. They do not charge per payment and they show you who payments are made to. BKK Bank just shows 3 digit codes that you need to figure out what they are..
