So the one I suggested wasn't the one you want?
Any suggestions more exact than everywhere?
I have looked in several markets..

If you're serious, install UPVC doors and windows.

The heat and the ants suggest the rain but none here in Nimmanhaemin.

If you mean Thai style with coconut cream thing ,a good one I know is or used to be opposite the Suendok Hospital near the pedestrian crossing but don't know if they're still there.
Later found this one and they mention they used to be opposite the Suendok Hospital.

Sounded like a good trip but don't know if it is a good idea to bring an unknown a long with you. How about inviting your wife's girl friends or something.

You can do your deadlifts in the area behind dumbbell rack there is a big space (near the row machine) and no benches. Anyway I move the benches around all the time, no worry.
The place is usually get crowded in the evenings.
Why not? I don't understand it's the place to workout.
Its still kinda small. I think I would have to move a bench or two for 15 minutes.
Also, deadlifts are sometimes a little loud.

It's so sad to see many comment on Mthai about what they think about many Farangs exercise racial superiority in Thailand. Most comments on the Thai forum lean toward the farang in question not respecting Thai law. There are many nice people regardless farang or Thai. I hate to see racial segregation in this society as it is unfair to the good Farang and the good Thai.

Thanks for the link
Fabulous pictures, thank you for sharing these Songkran pictures.
Do you know the specific year these pictures were taken? Late 60's?
I know; they're 1950-1964.
A lot of them are available here: http://library.cmu.a...ture_trails.php (In the Songkran section)

As for the OP, I still think that you could review the contract agreement and go to the police. Sometime they could be helpful provided you have enough evidence material to support you. As a landlord my self I ALWAYS return deposit as long as there's no damaged done. Even normal wear and tear will not be calculated. They (the landlord) know what they are doing is wrong. Many Thai think most farangs don't want to risk the legal action over a few bahts.

This is too much, where is the lease agreement? This is almost like criminal activities!! www.admincourt.go.th
I like that posters here are suggesting using the Thai legal system against bad landlords. Forget it.
Many years back my wife and I rented a house in Hua Hin. Paid deposit 2 months and one years rent in advance. After half a year a house came up for sale in the same soi and as we liked the neighbourhood, we decided to buy it. Moved and thought it was stupid to leave the rented house empty, contacted the owner and told him, that he could keep the rent and just pay the deposit back, and he was free to rent out the house straight away. But true to his genes, Thai-Chinese, he wanted to keep the deposit as well. I said no way, we will just leave house empty then. A couple of months later the extended family from Northeast came to visit, as usual quite a few of them, so I decided to put some of them in the rented house. BUT the dear landlord had changed the locks on a house where we still had prepaid for another 4 months. Called the police and met up with the landlord at the policestation, where the guy in charge (who we knew a little) told us to forget and get on with our lives, as the landlord was a very powerfull man around there. The best thing we could hope for, was for karma eventually catching up with this guy. So much for using the legal system here to solve rentaldisputes !!

Sound weird I'd never think any Thai would do that. Telling people to go back to where they come from sounded more like White people or Japanese attitude.
There's one old woman, face like she's sucking on lemons, who tells me, in Thai, to go home, every time I walk past her shop.
Just like my own country, there are some xenophobic/racists about - no need to worry too much about it. There are plenty of people I know who'd like the Polish/Africans/Germans/Indians/Pakistanis/Chinese out of my country. The majority, both here and in England, are welcoming though.

Ms Chocolate located in the Supermarket floor
Rimping used to have some import ones but I didn't like it. I don't know if they still have them now.
Currently I have to get my sugar free Chocolate from Central Chidlom BKK from Mrs. Flowers Chocolate available in both milk chocolate and dark. They tasted far better than import ones from Rimping.
Central Chitlom as distinct from Central World, and somewhere easily findable in that department store?

Wondering if restaurant is ready yet.

Powerhouse has the best gym, 2 bed condo available on Punna but rent very expensive as for cute girl I think BKK has most.

Someone here must sell it as they have been in business many years and are a Thai company. It is just figuring out where. What do they use to sweeeten it?
