@ justin case and @Katipo
Up North we have similar problems. Sometimes the air is worse, some days it's better.
Of course there may be inaccuracies measuring, but I hope this is not deliberate?
The best idea would be to have your own PM2.5 monitor.
Here are links - the AQI calculator and the aqmthai-website with hourly measuring.
The example is for Bangkok, Patumwan.
I hope you might find Suvarnaphumi - สุวรรณภูมิ ?
Good luck.

Surely you know 'firemapper'. Last 24 hrs. not so many fires around the airport?
However smoke might travel long distances...
https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/map/
There is a tool 'IDENTIFY'. You might find the burning site. - But then?
In the ChiangRai-Forum (Phrae) there is more info.

When I'm drivin' in my car, and the man comes on the radio
He's tellin' me more and more about some useless information
Supposed to fire my imagination ...Thank you, dear Pollution Control Department for this information. The air all over Thailand is very bad. OK, the air in parts of China andin India is worse. And southern Thailand seems to be moderate...We all know this. But what do you want to do now, tomorrow, the next days?In Thailand, Bangkok, in the North?today 20:00 aqicn.org

You might know this site already to get an hourly report from CO to PM2.5?
http://www.aqmthai.com/public_report.php
A little help, because the stations are only noted in Thai:
1. check Station
2. choose Start - End
3. choose parameter CO/NOX/PM2.5/...
4. click Table

67t Nan-City / 68t Lampoon / 69t Phrae / 70t Phayao / 73t ChiangRai

A very interesting website is working again.
http://berkeleyearth.org/air-pollution-overview
I think, we can not influence (the dirt in the air coming from) our neighbours.
So, let's start here !?
But who and where?

I think we all are in the middle of fine dust. Particulate matter...
You don't see it, you can't smell it.
*** So what's the problem? ***
I hope, someone might find out, where all this sh!t
in our neighbourhood comes from. - Thanks.

Across Thailand the situation is very critical, but nobody does anything!
30la, you're so right.
I'm thinking the same. Each day.
Do you have any idea, who could do anything today, tomorrow, next week, next month?
I'd really love to read some input, from everyone on thaivisa.com

More bad air?
Everly Brothers
thanks for your music.
died because of COPD.
This never ever could happen in Thailand!?
By the way, the Everly Brothers always have been one of the
best groups, musically and globally speaking - for ever.
Followed by 'The Shadows' and Cliff Richard.
Next great group I would say 'The Beach Boys'.
Sorry, I forgot to mention so many ...
(just remembered Rickie Nelson, Buddy Holly, Sam Cooke,
Otis, Aretha, Diana, The Beatles, Stones, Johnny Halliday...)
It's a strange world ...
Sorry, almost also forgot PM2.5 TH-North:
But other parts of the world not much better?
Remembering a friend - Wolfgang Asam - Munich - Berlin.
Tory and Lauren - Detroit
Steve - Pensacola
George - Ballarat
Anatoli - Taching

I'm so glad for Bangkok, particularly for the humans (and animals too)
living in Kanchanaburi. - There the AQI is 'down' to 102.
I hope and wish this will remain...
BUT, what is this? (Screenshots today 17 - 19:00)

Question in the Central Thailand Forum - 'kanchanaburi-air-quality':
What is the point of this thread? A weather report?and a clear answer, thanks 'canopy':
Canopy - The air supply that everyone is sharing has been deliberately tainted to the point of negatively impacting the health of the entire population living there. This is no weather report, this is serious, man made, and totally unnecessary. Don't let the fact that this occurs annually and is so long lasting bore you of this topic, these attributes should instead sound the alarm bells even louder.
-
'The air quality levels in Bangkok have improved to safe levels...'
FYI
Bangkok PM2.5 levels today: 'moderate' to 'Unhealthy for sensitive groups'
Kanchanaburi 'Unhealthy'
North of Thailand to a large extent 'Unhealthy'
