Feb 2
Today this was another sunny afternoon, while PM2.5 levels remained high.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeOa_OcB3DE
Phrae 21:00 163 AQI
Most of Thailand in red, more than 150 AQI.
North of Bangkok a bit worse.
No good news.
I think the Chinese smog will be arriving soon.

Another (basic)website:
1. http://www.aqmthai.com/aqi.php?lang=en
click on the calendar for the date-next box for the time-then 'ok'
2. http://www.aqmthai.com/public_report.php
Here you'll find all the stations reporting hourly.
There is always a table and sometimes a graph version.

aqicn.org, they are joking, aren't they?
I'm afraid somebody might be already sitting/watching in my computer?
But here a screenshot:
Btw, I didn't change to Italic and to smaller size!?
So why don't add another screenshot?

There's nothing on my desk this morning about anything being deleted or hidden in this thread.
Thanks, Mr sceadugenga,
then it's me and my computer.
Adding to 'Unhealthy Levels':
Phayao today is completely normal/average in Northern Thailand with an AQI 170.
So normal has become unhealthy.
A dangerous development.

AQI last night seems under 200. - Phrae at 8:00 shows 199.
At our place 20 km north of Phrae this morning a bit over 200.

Today's 'winner':
1. Phrao in the North - 387 at 9:00
2. Saraburi north of BKK - 358 at 8:00
3. Sam Ngao Hospital, near Tak - 335 at 10:00

Nothing to say, it's grey, milky grey outside the whole day.
The PM2.5 levels were around 280 in the morning,
came down to 100 in the late afternoon and now?
... I'm too lazy(?) to have a look.

This is the worst I have seen in January in the 8 years I have lived here. There has been no rain for almost 2 months.
My advanced answer had disappeared. My fault or supervision?
OK. * This year it is the worst. - Stop. *

It would help if they swept the roads and cleaned up the Northern cities!
We are 12 miles west of Udon, the wind direction changed a couple of days ago (coming from the East now) the AQI is good, at the house it is ~12, downtown it is ~90, the dust is never cleaned up and just recirculated and added to by the traffic!
What a BS.

At least Phrae is no 'sugar cane farm area'.
Farmers predominantly are growing rice, corn, water melons and
in the Lampang area pineapples.
The prevailing smog has a lot of sources.

I'm fully relaxed. Thanks.
You just should add: the smog problem up North.

Severe air pollution forces Nok Air flightback to Bangkok
For me the main information of this article would be
... PM2.5 dust particles today (January 27) were found to be 564 micrograms
per cubic meter in the province, while PM10 was 171 micrograms ...
A bit more than we measured at our place in Phrae at 8:48.

Well, I guess 155 is better than 354, which is what I'm seeing on RTAQ right now. But 155 is still unhealthy!
Anyway, I got the Lat/Lon of Phrae and went to the NASA FIRMS (Fire Information Resource Management System) site and saw that it is in an area where there so many fires that it looks like what the Australian bush fires must have looked like (or maybe still look). Maybe you should call Coulson Aviation and get air tankers in to take care of the fires (or least scare the arsonist-growers)?
It's unhealty, you're so right.
Now a screenshot from Phrae valley with Phrae and the airport in the center. 72 hrs.
Not too bad?
Zooming out 5 steps::
But I'll save this link. Thanks.

Today I and a lot of people here in Phrae would be very happy with one-five-five...

Good tool to alculate AQI to Concentration and vice versa:

High dust to affect air quality in some northern provinces
... ' The overall air quality in the country ranged from good to below standard '

I really appreciate what you're saying.
Agricultural burning, burning of rubbish, fumes of cars/vehicles, unfiltered power plants
and a windy thingy from India and China, sometimes too, I think.
I've regarded the situation since Jan 15 in/around Phrae, up North.
It's pretty bad...
