  1. It will be the military and the old school pols that he has to worry about they have already started legal proceedings against him and the PT leadership.
  2. YOu really have not looked at cities like Portland or Vancouver. San Francisco is another spot to look. Making drugs legal or at least a minor chrge does not work people more people buy and more people get addicted. Where I will agree to a point is if they make it legal but restrict where it can be sold and who can make the drugs then there is a benefit because you know people are not getting stuff that is laced with other things like fentanyl.
  3. No there are going to be a lot of business people that are going to lose money. You can not hide a place like Wonderland in NANA it is too big an operation. as well as all the other shops that have opened. Going to be interesting to see what landlords and businesses do.;
  4. Yeah when I moved in with GF in order to get cheaper rent she signed the lease. When I went to do retirement they needed her to complete the tm30 as the house was in her rental name. Maybe it is the business man in me but I always take more than I think I will need jus in case. Even taking the gf with me still . All it costs me is a coffee at starbucks lol but is a safety incase something comes up
  5. Principals get very little of the downtime that teachers get. Most schools are still open and they are responsibe for hiring new staff and arranging for students. For that part of the country i would say that is a high wage and probably is a means to getting her to go there. She seems young for the position but then again I am sure they do not have a lot of people banging the doors to teach there.
  6. Go to nana some pretty big shops in outstanding location. Pattaya walking street the same. If I was anutin I would leave the country quickly. I am sure that there are going to be aot of angry people looking for him.
  7. When dealing with immigration it is always best to cover all bases. Wife may not be needed but in the event she is you are covered. Whose name is house in. That's one of the things she can alleviate.
  8. I note that dad has not come here to try to help. Leaving everything to a Philippine gf not the best move
  9. I read the paper they put in the cup. If not sure of bar I pay as I go
  10. I actually hope they get their holiday extended. Give them separate accommodation for 30 days. Charge with guilty and note it on their records as well as blacklist them Will be interesting to see how the British rags make them look like they are the victim
  11. Got to wonder how many other couples have been there sounds like the perfect place for a young couple with. No car in the back of a truck sounds normal to me
  12. I take it you have not been to Pattaya or nana recently they already are together.
  13. The only way she gets voted in is if the pt gets 300 seats. There is no way the Senate will vote for her.
  14. as strange as t sounds a lot of parents have continued to mask their kids and have not stopped. The masking is more now about cold and flu than I think COVID. Why are the numbers in SE Asia higher? China has started letting its people come to these coutnries as tourists. I am wiling to bet is a factor.
  15. I am seeing a lot of people selling and buying electric-powered scooters. I am just wondering with the cost of electricity and lack of locations to charge are they a better deal than a regular gas-powered bike
  16. must you pay taxes, yes, must you obey the laws of your state, even if you disagree with some of them, yes. LOL depends on the state right now I can name a few states in the U.S. tht you do not have to obey the laws California, Illionois, NY are a couple Is it required that you work for a living, yes, NO THE GOVERNMENT WILL PAY WELFARE AND SUPPORT YOU If war is declared would you be called up to fight, yes, no MOST COUNTRIES HAVE DONE AWAY WITH THE DRAFT. ALSO, LOOK AT THE NUMBER OF DRAFT DODGERS OR CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS If you break an important law of your state would you be imprisoned, yes, in manhatten you are free in 30 minutes or less lol are you allowed to express views that could cause offense to others or lead to violence, YES as long as it is WOKE? lol i know where you are going but could not stop myself from this. Yes every country has rules and every culture has cultural norms that should be accepted and followed. BUT every country that is a democracy went through the learning stages. The issue here is tht this country never gets a chance to learn and to follow the growth pattern that is needed. It is like a baby trying to walk. the baby gets up and crawls but falls down so mom picks it up and moves the bay where it wanted to go. Is the baby going to learn to walk if it does not stand and fall. NO same here
  17. Yeah it is funny and I hate to use the U.S. but you have to wonder how all these guys that make 100 grand become millionaires. Then you look at NANCY and her hubby and you start to see a picture. In Canada I am sure it goes on but it is a little harder because every dollar that is spent has to be justified and tallied. Most of the time CDN MP get theirs after they are done and get positions in companies. I can remember a lot of military generals and Colonels that got nice positions and jobs on their retirement.
  18. BJT has a history that says to stay relevant in any way they will suck up to whomever is in power. Remember the same guy that thought Thaksin was great was the one that was the Health minister and spearheaded the masks and the non-regulting of marijuana as a high ranking member of the past government high-ranking
  19. This is not and i hope it never is a red shirt yellow shirt thing. Red and yellow is more about a different part of Thailand and has very little to do with the election directly. I would say more but the MOD GODS are watching lol
  20. The problem that you are overlooking is that in every case instead of the people rectifying the situation democratically a small group of people force the military to take over rule of the country. It is the will of the people that they have to decide and vote as to whether one party is better than another. These coups are set up by the rich because they disagree with what the party in power is doi8ng or go to court with mickey mouse charges that are killing the will of the people. Someone tell me a true democratic country that outlaws saying anything about the other parties. That makes it unlawful to point out in an election what the past government did that was wrong or done wrong. If the military and the person that remains nameless really want Thailand to be a democratic country then they will let the will of the people stand. They may not like it almost as much as many Thais did not like the past few years but leave it and let things go to an election and if necessa,ry then a non-confidence if the party in power screws the pooch. I am wondering when was the last time this country had 3 elections in a row without a military coup in between? Let the people see how the PT operate I think it is safe to say that they are not going to have a majority. Let the people see how effective the MFP is. Let them see what these mini parties like BJT and UTN really do when they have no ability to suck up and become part of the government.
  21. The funny thing is that even if they get rid of the PT party the people at are elected will still sit in the government. The trick is what to do with the free seats. BUT MFP as the defacto winning party if PT disolves will get most of them along wth a deal to give the PT members a home to stay in until this is all regulated.
  22. The Thai government wanted to lower it. The only part of this that was Prayut is that he is still prime minister. The 10K is something that people will get (maybe ) if they qualify and if the PT gets into power with enough votes to control the government. The funny thing is the other some I am waiting to drop the case to dissolve the MFP. They are a bigger threat to the e mainstream as the leader is not a Thaksin crony. IF after the election the EC takes up the challenge then it is going to be a long time without a government as the PT will not relinquish until it has gone through all the courts.
  23. This want a democratic election. They want their voices heard. They do not want the military even though with the coups it has become a practice. Military rule only serves 1 person and one group of people
