If they work, this is great news. If.

"“The term ‘everything is under control’ was spoken before and during the big flood in 2011,” Adune said. “History teaches us lessons and we should learn from it, not let another failure happen.”"
This statement alone shows that he's smarter than anyone in the government.

So to those who would say she has done too little since coming to power, now you see why. Her power only goes as far as the military allows. If she pushes too hard, if she goes against them, game over. A real tragedy, as she could have done so much more for the country. Now her legacy will be forever tarnished. And when she is gone, the final flame of democracy will go with it. Game, set, match, to the military.

This man is a pathological liar. And in my opinion, pure evil.

Companies are telling their Thai staff not to travel via airports over Songkran. Those that do face 14 day quarantine, in many cases unpaid.

https://www.nichada.com/ is easily the most child friendly neighbourhood in Bangkok. Very few cars, dedicated cycle lanes that are actually respected, and footpaths and walkways too. There are a ton of other amenities and regular family orientated and other expat friendly activities are organised as well.

17 people heading back to Thailand in a 100% full plane? May want to recheck those numbers after landing ????

It will go ahead. But large parties and gathering will be cancelled. i.e. I would say the festivals in Pattaya, Khao San, and Silom will be cancelled.

2019 saw a decline in profits... but there were still profits..... except in Thai airways case. All the excuses they give might explain why things might not be as good as they could be, but don't explain why things are incredibly bad as they are, year after year.

So a single wipe down is going to keep the place virus free indefinitely? Yeah, nah, I don't think that's how it works

ANZ shouldn't have even approved the loan. I am ashamed.

This is not red or yellow, this is Thailand's future who are speaking, who are saying they have had enough of the machinations of the old guard under the false guise of peace and unity. He's right to be scared.

The seeds of unrest are not being sown by the voices of Thailand's future, but rather when the dinosaurs of it's past disbanded Future Forward.

It's kind of weird. Bernie is energising and uniting Democrats like no other candidate, and clearly appears to be the 'peoples choice', and yet the Dem establishment would have us believe he will harm Democratic chances of a win. How did that strategy work out for them last time? Hmmmmm. It's almost as though the Dem establishment is afraid of him. Hmmmmm. The two parties are different sides of the same coin. This is one of the reasons Trump succeeded, and hopefully why Bernie will also succeed. The US political establishment needs a complete colon cleanse.

Depends on the type of work and their qualifications/skills. Uni grads seem to get 18-25k, going up to 40k after 5 years or so. Assist Managers/Managers go higher than this up to ~70k in my experience. Director positions 120k+. VPs 150-300k depending on company.
So the average really depends on who they are or what they do.

I'm browsing around Bangkok and central regions now, and still seeing 20-30 point less from the Thai gov site. e.g. Ayutthaya 121 vs. 154, Pakret 134 vs. 155. ????

The Air4Thai website appears to show consistently show lower readings (~20-30 points) than all other independent sites. I can only assume this is deliberate, due to either 'selective' placement of readers or manipulation of figures. I find this morally reprehensible.

"The Prime Minister cited security concerns for his continued stay in a military compound after his retirement".... I guess he knows that he's not as popular as he would like us to think he is.

Improve the economic numbers by closing down factories and plants for two extra days??? Ding. Ding. Ding. What is going on, here?
It's likely that the extra holidays will just be for government employees, or in some cases come private employers might move holidays from other dates to these two. It is unlikely companies will increase minimum public holidays from 13 to 15.

And, if I remember correctly, she's been appointed to an anti-corruption body? How can anyone take this "government" seriously?

Any airline that is forcing their front line staff to still fly to China at this time are irresponsible and callous. Airplanes are flying incubators.

Good on him. It can be quite difficult to find masks at the moment, so for some this will be a real relief.

Right, so no more licences. I'm sure all the moral law abiding citizens of the cock fighting community will respect this directive, and not set up illegal fights behind closed doors. ????
