Yes there are at Suvarnabhumi. 70 years and up - same desk as arriving Thais use. On the far right side as you look at the desks. This info is correct as of 6 months ago.
And outward bound passengers over 70 can use the priority queue for BOI, Diplomats, Aircrew etc. The whole process is conducted on one floor, without having to go up and down elevators, and will save you a ton of time.

Innova would work for that number of people as a town car, but no way would I want to drive it any distance, and certainly not at 100kph on the open road. Cross this car off your list immediately, it's just not fit for purpose.
Your best bet (depending on mileage) is the 3.0 Everest. For 7+ people plus luggage, you need all the torque you can get. The Everest also has the brakes necessary to stop all that weight.

You'll be fine. Variations of what is happening to you are not so uncommon. Never heard of any problems.

Bt40,000 outpatient coverage???
This would be the worse. This means you need to buy a much more expansive coverage plan than you might need just for this visa. I am not interested in outpatient coverage and still forced to buy it?
This will shake out a lot of foreigners living here. As if the outpatient medical services would be the ones which have outstanding bills. No doctor treats you "outpatient" if you don't show your credit card or health insurance. It's all about emergencies (in terms of "open bills")It looked a little high to me, so what I think they meant to say was 30k for ER Accidents such as getting smacked off a motorbike. That would make more sense.

He's right about Morrison and the Aussie's seemingly not giving a toss about climate change... and this is in spite of Australia, which is a simmering desert at the best of times, just getting hotter and hotter in recent years (Koala's are functionally extinct by the way).
However if he thinks that the Chinese by being polite means they have magnanimous intentions for the region displays a degree of naivety that frankly I find disturbing..... Unless of course, he's already deep in the Chinese pocket and is just pandering to his new masters (which is quite likely given the corrupt history of the region).

If every westerner flew out of Thailand tomorrow they would be fine. We are the only ones who do not seem to realize that.
Sure, some businesses would be hurt, but places like Taco joints and bars. Do you think Thais really care?
Take Huawei as an example, no US sales, and now second place in the world behind Samsung in phone sales.
Life goes on, the average deal in Thailand is between Thais and other Thai or Asian companies. Foreigners think the red carpet should be laid out for them because they feel the entire economy would collapse without them. This is the problem, the entitlement.
The truth is Pattaya and Walking Street would shut down, and Thailand would probably be better off for it. The truth is not popular, but it is still the truth.
I am afraid I can't agree with this. Many multinationals have significant expat management teams in their Thailand sites. If these people were to leave, their offices and manufacturing sites would have to be significantly scaled back, or would cease to function altogether, and move offshore. The impact from this particular group of foreigners leaving can not be overstated! Think panic and recession.

50% of the plastic in our oceans comes from fishing nets and associated fishing equipment such as buoys, polystyrene, and empty oil canisters etc. So while getting rid of singles use plastics such as straws and cups and other micro-consumer products is admirable, it doesn't address the larger problems.

The fact these GPS trackers can be disabled so easily is quite disturbing. Although it's quite possible the driver made an illegal modification, which again, is quite disturbing. It's almost certain that he's been flicking it on and off for quite some time, and it's rather disturbing that no one noticed, or cared, or bothered to check. Even more disturbing is that there are probably 100's if not thousands of other van drivers on the road at this very minute who do a similar thing.
If any of your friends or loved ones want to travel by van in Thailand, just show them the disturbing photo in this article. RIP ????

As is mentioned in the article, a lot of this debt is due to mortgages. While there could be a property crash (it hasn't happened yet, and many have said it should have), this at least isn't as bad as credit card debt or that on the likes of cars and other depreciating assets. Currently I am inclined to think there will be a correction, not a collapse. A correction may take out the more exposed, but it won't lead to vast swathes of the population going into bankruptcy or similar.

Sadly, construction companies and the like, rarely seem to treat their own workers like VIPs when it comes to health and safety.

I know I posted the Toyota, it was a point of reference against the OP post. The shape of the grill, the lights, and the fog lamp surrounds are all far to similar to the Toyota to be a coincidence.

Khao San was still a hub for backpackers coming to SEA. A place from which they could launch their adventures, create fond memories, and create a bond with Thailand which might result in them returning later in life with their families. Severing this tie will also mean that these people may never leave Suvaranabhumi, and instead fly straight on to their destination, which might very well not even be in Thailand.
What I am seeing is a panic reaction by officials who don't understand why Western tourist numbers are declining, don't understand what the broader ramifications of this decline could mean, and certainly have no idea how create a plan that might turn things around.
The Chinese are already showing signs of Thailand fatigue, Asia is a region where trends come and go as quickly as the Instagram posts that start them.
I cannot see a positive result for the Kingdom unless the short term reactionary is replaced with more long term visionary.

Kind of can't blame the Scottish. Who'd want to be part of the current embarrassment that is UK politics. They're lucky to have Trump setting the bar so low, otherwise the current crop would look even worse ????

Saw the movie, and was a little disappointed to be honest. At the end of the last F&F movie, Hobbs and Shaw were sat down with the gang and all close like family. This movie pretends that didn't happen and builds itself around the two leads hating each other and bickering, massive action sequence, more bickering, action, and so on. I understand that with F&F you need to let go of any pretence of reality, but in this case I just think it was poorly scripted and put together.

I love this rubbish. First Paragraph.....
"Actor Tanapol “Tle” Nimthaisuk was sentenced to two years and six months in jail without suspension."
Last paragraph....
The court then released him on a bail of Bt135,000, pending his appeal to the upper court.
.....so no, not in jail

Odd. One would have thought the weak pound would have been good for exports thus creating growth.
At this point I don't think one can blame Brexit at this point, because it hasn't happened yet. The instability caused by the complete balls up of the never ending leave process on the other hand.

Thailand is a fantastic country to tour on a big bike. Of course there is always going to be an element of risk, but at the end of the day a lot of that risk comes down to how much training and experience the rider has, how they ride the bike (drunk, too fast?), and what precautions and safety equipment they use.

Everything you write about this girl, her family, and friends and villagers tells me that you should get out now. This is not normal, you are being taken advantage of.
You said engagement isn't normal, yet you still gave money. Why? You're giving the family 20% of your income. Why? An amount of Sin Sod was agreed upon, yet family members are passive aggressively making you feel bad by comparing to others who may or may not have got more. This family don't see you as a son-in-law, they see you as a source of income. And that is all you will ever be. The precedent has been set, and will lead to ongoing problems throughout the duration of your marriage.
In summary, getting married to this woman will be a mistake that you will lead to frustration, anger, and unhappiness.

Depends if we could both find there the type of rewarding work we both have here. Fairly difficult I'd say. We're more likely to move to my home country.

Shoot a sleeping man in the back of the head, who is trying to make an honest living, for 4,000 baht? Honestly, the perpetrator should just be put down. He is obviously beyond help and it would be doing society a great service.

Serious question, can they not field a proxy in cases like this? Surely there must be some provisions.
