There is at least one track that leads to the top if you don't fancy the road.

The "e" stands for the chip or just glued on to make it sound all fancy?
It has a chip.

Perhaps the officials thought long stay car park was going to be full of overstaying foreigners who had been sitting in their cars for months at a time. Perhaps someone could enlighten them as to their actual purpose? ????

I have 3 steps for you....
- Eliminate government and corporate corruption

I used the fingerprint scanners when I arrived 2 weeks back. Their are clear pictorial instructions that show what needs to be scanned and when. It was unnecessary for the immigration official to say anything. Having said that, the extra 10 seconds or so it takes normal people to use this machines could worsen queues. When you take into account the idiot factor, I can see how delays could be substantial.

I swear that same banged up old blue pick up is responsible for about 50% of the idiotic traffic accidents in Thailand.

Given that it's common knowledge that there is a ton of prostitution all over Pattaya (and Thailand in general), I am just going to assume that they wanted to get rid of the police chief, and this was the easiest way to do it.

Oh look, another inefficient mafia style organisation is facing actually having to compete on ability instead of thriving in a corrupt protectionist environment.
-
No mention of who this mafia actually is. It's not like it's a highly secure area tightly controlled by government officials who..... oh, wait, never mind ????

I think the police probably have a different standard for transparency than your average person. ????

Many moons ago I attended my one and only party down there. In the 20 metre space between two male and female toilet buildings was a pickup full of dealers who'd jump off the back to approach men as they went to use the facilities. Closer to the female building was a pickup full ogfBIB who did... Well, absolutely nothing.

You've got Malaysia proper, and then you've got Penang and KL. Of the two I think Penang is the most attractive. If you're an active sort of individual there is plenty to do. Tons of sports clubs and organisations to, with the use of English being common place. Less pollution, both on the ground and in the air. Fantastic cafes and restaurants. Beaches are nice, but not amazing. Lots of greenery. Plenty of places to get a drink, but it's not really a place for people who like to hang out in bars all the time, and certainly not for those who prefer paying for the company of woman. Although there are those types of woman around, often from Thailand, you won't be surprised to learn.

Dropping a log so massive it won't fit through the drainage grill. I'm not even mad. That's amazing ????

Good on them for giving it a go. I'm sure they did their best. US women's team is one of the best, if not the best, in the world. Would have been nice if they'd eased off before hitting double digits. I suppose all of fair is love and football.

When was the last time the US dealt with anything "decisively"? Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria? Nothing decisive about any of those wars. They are still dragging on years, even decades, later.

50k bat fine for damage of around 100m baht. Oh well done to the authorities. You really taught them a lesson!

It's possible that an out of the way small 'no brand' petrol station with a 'no brand' convenience store might, but certainly non with a family mart, 7/11, or Jiffy. At least I have never seen any evidence of them doing so.

Yeah, nah, I wouldn't say this is making history. It's just a mid-year sale. Nice bit of paid spin by the Nation, but somehow I don't think this one is going to go down in any annals.

The man is clearly off his t*tties! ????
Seriously though, drunk driving is no laughing matter. The elaborate explanation given by his boss on the other hand....

Poor guy. But at least they haven't tried to sweep this one under the table. So there is a chance his family and friends can get some justice, and some closure ????

So I assume, given the extreme seriousness of the situation, there will be a thorough investigation, charges will be laid, followed by arrests? Hahahahah, who am I kidding? Have a great day everyone. Oh look, a half naked farang took a photo at a temple.... quick quick!
And as if right on cue, Tourist Police are hunting down 3 naked men posing around Kamphaeng Phet ????

I can see that analogy..... Prayuth as Captain, Army/Gov as Officers, and the general public as slaves that will be tossed overboard if they don't do what they are told. ????
