  1. Wonder what happened in between the two calls to make him change his mind...
  2. No, that is what a totalitarian one party state looks like. If your brain isn't up to the task to understand this then I'm sure your therapist can help you understand... The thread is about whether people are in favour of businesses going cashless or not...less of the conspiracy theory hysteria on this please...
  3. Absolutely nothing to do with Thai businesses choosing to use cashless payment. You really are reaching now. Conspiracy theory hyperbolic BS to link chinas covid protests with businesses making choices on payment. Get a grip
  4. Lot of neither challenging nor accepting your figures. Doesn’t mean we agree with you.
  5. For all those who have assumed Ae was in the room with the robbed tourist...she wasn't. He was in the room alone. From the linked OP "Ae, a Thai female victim, told police she saw two skinny male suspects standing about 170 cm and 160 cm aged 20-30 years old running past her. She said she did not raise her guard, thinking the suspects were only the hotel’s guests until the suspects hopped on their motorbike, turned back, and snatched a purse from her before escaping." For Shame
  6. Enough with the whataboutary of how many were eligible to vote. 62% of those voting voted remain...that is an overwhelming majority. Scotland was dragged out because of an english near 2 million vote in favour of leave.
  7. 62% of Scottish voters voted remain. That is why they justifiably state they were dragged out. Brexit happened because of the near 2 million majority voting in favour of leave amongst English voters.
  8. Some GPS now telling patients requiring urgent care to get an Uber if need to go to hospital… https://www.theguardian.com/society/2022/nov/27/gps-tell-patients-to-get-an-uber-as-nhs-ambulance-delays-hit-record-level?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  9. Not true. Plenty of people in the U.K. quite rightly complaining. https://amp.theguardian.com/business/2022/nov/25/cost-of-living-crisis-hitting-england-most-deprived-area-hardest-spending-less-food-ons-survey
  10. Brexit logic personified. Don’t talk about the mess brexit has caused and no one will notice. ‘tis to laugh.
  11. To be clear I wasn't referring to your post...
  12. I saw a somewhat rambling response. Not sure I saw an answer though...
  13. Why is it better news Germany is entering recession?
  14. Here’s another reason why. “Minako Morita-Jaeger, a senior research fellow in international trade at Sussex University business school and a policy research fellow of the UK Trade Policy Observatory, said the government had “oversold” the UK-Japan trade agreement and it did not offer significant economic advantages over the previous EU deal. She said the early trade data did not appear encouraging.” https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/nov/26/brexit-britain-japan-trade-deal-exports-slump?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  15. Without the near 2 million English majority in favour of leave, leave would not have happened. That was the decisive number. It was the majority of English voters that led to leave not a minority of Scottish and Irish voters.
  16. It’s not opinion. You cannot only count one side in a democratic vote. The near 2 million votes in favour of leave from England was the decisive number.
  17. They don’t need to be anymore correct as they are correct as they stand.
  18. That doesn’t make your whataboutary any more correct.
  19. Nonsense “argument”. brexit would not have happened if nearly 2 million more of the English votes had not gone the way of leave.
  20. And I have repeatedly pointed out why that argument is bogus, as you cannot count only one set of votes and that the near 2 million English majority in favour of leave was the decisive number.
  21. You can be as creative as you like and count only votes that will support the opinion you wish to be true. However it does not change the fact that leave happened because of the English leave vote. It was an insurmountable number that proved decisive.
  22. Again, you cannot count the votes for one side alone. And yet again, maths 101, the leave vote won because nearly 2 million more English voted leave than remain.
  23. It was by the four countries that make up the U.K.
  24. No, they wouldn’t have won if not for the near 2 million vote for leave in England.
