  1. Ah huh ... got to wonder about the veracity of the source used in that post then...
  2. I am a UK qualified teacher with the degree/PGCE and 33 years experience of teaching in the UK and around the world to back it up.
  3. I exercised in the house while on lockdown, without any equipment or weights. Getting back into my routine was simple enough when I returned to gym after lockdown lifted.
  4. As a teacher, I can tell you that statement is categorically incorrect.
  5. Anything to back up that claim…
  6. Braverman not going gently into that good night. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/oct/19/liz-truss-government-on-the-brink-after-suella-bravermans-parting-shot?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other “Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.“ The Second Coming William Butler Yeats
  7. truss is everything I said she was during the leadership campaign. Incompetent, clueless about policy details and unable to heal the divisions in the party. She spent months promoting her tax cut blah blah blah despite this policy being exposed as unworkable by economists and members of her own party. And when the budget imploded in her face she threw the chancellor, who had argued against some of the proposals in the budget, under the bus to save her own worthless skin. She has been an unmitigated disaster as pm and has given the opposition a real opportunity of overturning a 70 plus majority. Am I enjoying it, no. The turmoil of this inept incompetent’s premiership is hurting the country as a whole and she needs to go. The tories are divided and, it seems, incapable of forming any type of coherent governance while their internal civil war rages on. The reality is they are not fit to govern and the sooner an election occurs the better for everyone.
  8. Tick tick tick…braverman gone, who’s next one wonders
  9. So many u turns, truss is now spinning… https://www.theguardian.com/money/2022/oct/18/liz-truss-may-abandon-pension-triple-lock-and-says-difficult-decisions-ahead?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
  10. I regard it as a deflection post on your part after your previous sweeping generalisation about the Irish.
  11. Your words, in total regarding your stereotype comments on the Irish. "Irish were coming to the U.K often to work in construction and Irish builders may not have been the type of tenant a landlord would want , work was seasonal and the Irish do like a drink .'' The meaning is perfectly clear.
  12. No it's not and despite how much you don't want to see it, racism is a cancer that eats away at a society. Oh, and I am far more to the left than liberals...
  13. I answered it, as your generalisation was aimed at the Irish as a whole, not builders.
  14. It is not what you said. Here is what you said "Irish were coming to the U.K often to work in construction and Irish builders may not have been the type of tenant a landlord would want , work was seasonal and the Irish do like a drink ''
  15. Yes it does...and I have provided links earlier in this thread that shows the damaging effect racist attitudes and actions are having in the uk...
