The bike is in showroom condition, it has never been used in the rain, the bike was run in correctly, the 1st service was done at 1000kms.

Although I am not leaving until after Xmas I would rather sell now to someone who will appreciate it fully, love this bike it is truly amazing and turns heads where ever I have been, it is the best bike I have ever owned, I will be sad to see it go eventually.

Is the bike for sale now or next year how many km will it have next year or are you not using it anymore so km will stay the same between then and now

I fail to see where the confusion is!! the bike is for sale if someone pays what I am asking, I am not leaving to next year so obviously I am in no hurry if it can not be sold for my asking price, where is the confusion? there are many people who want a quick cheap bargain if that is the case then they should be looking at cheaper bikes!!

The bike is not used much as I hate driving in the rain so it will have very low km's even after 1 yr.

Might I suggest you list the price you would like to sell the bike for? Given you have a lot of time on your hands if your not in a rush to part with that wonderful machine I will assume you will wait to sell anyway attempting to get the price you want until D-Day arrives.

Worked with a fella who rode Goldwings for years. He did more touring around the states in a week that a Harley rider would do in a year. He rode up to Illinois on a trip and while standing outside his room a lady asked him is that your bike and he says yes and you rode it from New Mexico he says yes. Then she says I am the president of the local harley Chapter and I cannot get these guys to ride more than 50 miles in a day.Larry got a laff out of that, he died a few years ago but not on his Goldwing. Larry was still touring into his late 60s

Some of Us Harley riders do tend to put a lot of miles on their bikes. Even when I lived in cold snowy Illinois. Sounds to me like a tale to tell other Harley Haters. Us harley riders know better. 1996 Fatboy here in Thailandand I put some miles on it here too. It never ceases to amaze me as to how people want to put other bikes down. I feel right on A Harley but I do not have to talk trash about a guy who rides a Honda or any other brand for that matter. I figure to each his own and would ride with any biker no matter what he rides. Happy riding all and safely please! Peace!

Good post, have you changed the stock exhaust for a very noisy one? if you have what is the reason for doing this? if you haven't then good for you being a considerate biker!!

Okay so what are your options because you will be waiting for ever expecting Honda, Yamaha etc to make a bigger fuel capacity scooter.

Buy a bigger bike!!

I have a big bike that uses Benzine 95, nearest petrol 60km round trip, I keep a supply at the house.

Carry some fuel with you in a back pack, maybe a bit dangerous.

Move closer to many fuel stations.

Forget a bike and use the car if you have one.

As for bigger wheels, I replaced my rear tires on both of my Suzukis to the 90x90x14 never had a flat tire since doing this

Why oh why would I want to drive 700kms straight through? am I in a hurry!! I like to stop have a drink stretch the legs, I would have to stop every 200k to re-fuel so where is the problem with any rear passenger going a long distance?

I would not drive that distance anyway I would prefer to take the car.

yes true ... remember i was a sports bike rider and had the same sort of gaga eyes you have about your bike .... my point is this... IMO due to the change in the materials used to gain speed or whatever they look cheap .....

You are entitled to your opinion, I am looking at my bike now and I can not see anything that looks cheap, again it has plastic in order to save weight very important in the supersport and big naked bike class.

Of all the girls I have had (all 4 of them) they have yet wanted to be on a cruiser bike, they all tend to like the sexy sports look...

HD is a nice bike to look at, but not something I would like to own. They are to noisy (wrong noise), one burnt my pants (was going to work) so they are unpractical (I just borrowed that)... Nah... Nice to look at, but it ends there for ME- others will think differently. Just enjoy your bike and remember that all bikes have soul...

I have to admit at looking at my bike often, it is the most beautiful thing on 2 wheels and &lt;deleted&gt; fast!!

mine are approaching 10 years old so i dont know how much is non american or plastic , but to the eye it doesnt look plastic ..... dont get me wrong i loved my Ducatis , the bikes DR T had a hand in the engineering and design were absolute works of art ... i just lost interest once the materials changed and IMO starting to look cheap ..... jap bikes IMO have too much plastic and they lack as i stated before soul....

So your bike contains plastic!! as stated in the very funny video plastic is used in superbikes to make them lighter which enables them to go faster, the video states HD's are part rice burners nothing wrong in that. each to there own!!

She sits on the back seat where most passengers sit LOL... If there is not enough room, I go get the car and we drive that around. Bikes don't pick up girls any better than a BMW or MERC. Now Ferrari or something really exotic, sure, they will go for a ride but if she is any good your only going to get that far BUT we know whats in Pattaya and Phuket among other places in which case you don't need anything but bad breath and cash in hand.
