Wife and I registered on 7/12 with our due date of 15/12 . Went to Samui IMO yesterday as we were still shown as pending checked this morning on line and it still shows pending even though we were granted another 90 days yesterday at the office. Asked the staff why the App was not working three staff told me they new nothing about it so I asked if I could speak with the boss to be told “ Phone the help line “ . Gave up and came home .

My wife and I often comment on things you see in Thailand “ You couldn’t make it up “ . It seems this lot do ????????????

So not one country listed from the African Continent????

But you still can’t get a glass of wine or beer with your meal ????????????????????

Okay had our two AZ vaccinations last Sunday both my wife and I at Bangkok Samui Hospital . Well organized and professional we thought. Question what do we need to do now to get Q code and vaccination certificate?

My wife and I both expats like thousands of others over the last two days had our second AZ shot at Bangkok Samui Hospital yesterday also four other venues available .Our friends came also and boy after we could have murdered a beer and a glass of wine but NO CHANCE , we needed a meal after no breakfast before our vacation. What a ridiculous situation this edict is with so many locals needing employment again and local businesses suffering. Those in the top echelon should be ashamed to put their people through this .

As a Samui Farang Resident for over sixteen years my wife and I where vaccinated with AZ on the 27 th June with our second dosage due on the 19 th September. We have an app called vaccine.smart samui.com which tells us we where vaccinated on that date now here’s the rub . Nothing else as yet with a conformation of the 19th September. Today at lunch we spoke to an Aussie resident who also go jabbed on the same day as us he had not heard anything either . Now when we went on the midway to four pm time slot there must have been around one thousand or more to be vaccinated plus a mate of mine went in the morning and again thousands of Farang , so all of us with one jab . We would like to see the figures for Samui that show 70 % have had both vaccinations, skeptical at best.

We are a small island and two out of a total of twenty four where positive but for how long and where on the island . How many acquaintances have been exposed to these unfortunate effected people whether THAI or Foreigners. aThe Black Bamboo gave us a lot so two x ten friends x ten x ten is in fact a big worry for our tight knit community. My wife and I are due for our second AZ jab on 19 September so the need for extreme caution will be paramount when shopping and going out of our compound. Our hands are already in need of Alcohol Anonymous ????????
