  1. Just do some real homework and research. EV's sound all sweet and fluffy to comfort the new age emotional generation, but in reality there is another side thats unrealistic. Just do the homework. 2 groups fighting over power thats all, need to look at both side not just media and corporate propaganda. I will leave it here.
  2. No because it takes fossil fuels to charge which means more burning of coal and gas.
  3. Ev's have created new business's throughout europe. Deisel powered trucks towing diesel generators to charge stranded Ev's that ran out of battery power in the middle of highways. No thanks. Id rather do a 10 min fuel stop than an 8 hour charging stop. Fair enough if you are just driving a couple of k's down to the local 7/11, by all means go buy a 100k electric sardine can.
  4. Still cheaper to run a diesel or petrol car as they are cheaper to buy. The day an EV pickup can run nonstop from bangkok to northeast is the day I will consider buying one. I couldnt put up with an 8 hr layover time for charging driving from Bangkok to Mukdahan. EV's are 100% unsustainable and unrealistic.
  5. Totally Agree, good to see Thailand with taking a common sense approach. Western leaders are pathetic and weak and have only their own interested at stake. Just remember the west unsettled the entire Arabic world over notions of weapons of mass destruction that didnt even exist.
  6. Balancing between, pleasing the World Health Organization mafia rule on the world and keeping freedoms of Thai's as much as possible, I agree with him.
  7. Why would anyone want to leave Thailand? The rest of the world has gone to <deleted>
  8. Nice graph but it dont back up your argument. To fully charge an EV it will take 10 plus days and thats on the charge every day without driving it. And you wont have enough power left for the rest of your house. So you will be living in the dark at night. Charging an EV for a couple of hours wont get you far, ok for a quick trip to the Kwik e mart and thats about it. . EV's are unsustainable and not realistic so tax away tax tax tax..... https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=104605515456506&id=100077211727232&__tn__=KH-R
  9. Ive done all the mathematics this is why I wont go down the path of getting an EV they are unreliable and unrealistic.
  10. You dont get 8hrs of full sun per day its 2 hours only this is why it takes 2 weeks.
  11. I have a solar system on my roof top so yes I know all about it. To fully charge an EV with a standard roof top system which is 6kw it will take 2 weeks. If you want a fast charge in about 2 hrs by solar it will take 200 250watt panels
  12. How would you get from bangkok to Mukdahan with and EV would take you a week?. I can make it in 10 hrs nonstop. ok if you driving 2 min to the 7-11. But rather a motor bike for that. Also solar panels and batteries are also unsustainable because they only last 10 years and then cannot be recycled.
