  1. I would suspect that she was quite rude and possibly threw off a few insults while refusing to pay the overstay fine.....

..... and was taught a lesson in the importance of Thai manners.

Wonder what evidence there was of the theft charge, besides the statements of the immigration officials on duty.... Now after your months and months in a Thia prison you can plead guilty and go home, or fight the case and be remanded back in prison while we delay the case... it's Thailand, up2u.

  2. A few times in my life I've been confronted by people trying to intimidate me, the closest to yours was two Asians with a 12 inch blade in Sydney when they blocked the only exit to a room, every time I have stared them out with a fuc_king do it then muthafukha stance, I am still here without ever having to physically defend myself in my adult life, or have never needed to throw a punch in anger.

  3. Reminds me of this case

    http://news.monsters...slaving_servant

but the aspect of torture in this Karen case is worse and

    the girl was younger.

Just makes you want to cry. I hope the bastards that did this suffer for the rest of their life. They are evil and will always be so.

And did that lady ever see a day in jail??

"Wipaporn, who was released on bail and will appeal the verdict, was sentenced to seven years in jail for hiring a 13-year-old girl in 2003 and forcing her to work under slave-like conditions for a year. "

I doubt it. Just another case of a Thai being convicted and sentenced for a henious, torturous crime, then immediately released... of course 'on bail' while they 'appeal'..... I'd guess that her appeal is still being drawn out for a few donations when the time comes.

  4. Really is difficult sometimes with the hang em high brigade. coffee1.gif

Yup, I remember that bit. Was the cause of a few arguments between him and her apparently.

How do I fit into the 'Hang 'em high Brigade'? Your answer will interest me, thanks.

How do you know the 9mm caused a problem. ?

I don't, you need to read. It apparently did, from reports I remember at the time.

    *ahem*

"How do I fit into the 'Hang 'em high Brigade'?"

    Tranny?

  5. The gun was owned by the deceased, but, was in the possession of the accused. He is being charged for this.

Seems like Transam doesn't know the facts.

The gun was in the downstairs loo, NOT on his person, her mobile was there too. Do not accuse unless YOU have the facts.

The gun was in the house he was living in. He was also allegedly using it to threaten people.

  6. i get a lot of up/down stares from the women..it doesnt feel friendly, even when i give a smile, i get a sucking lemon look in return or a smile that looks painted. Outside in general, i get pleasant interactions. But the "pretty" girls often give dagger treatment.

I find it sad that many girls here would have no problems with attempting to steal another womans man, and that they judge each other too much on looks alone.

You're just starting to understand the true mindset of the Thai, not that enjoyable experience is it?

  7. Alleged argument.

Just as likely she was hit with his gun, which apparently he was quite vocal about having.

Please plug your brain in when you post.

Seems you do NOT know the story. The deceased ''owned'' the 9mm. coffee1.gif Really is difficult sometimes with the hang em high brigade. coffee1.gif

  8. A guy with a gun firing at will is one thing but an argument with NO gun is another thing. Please plug your brain in when you post. coffee1.gif

  9. I got a puncture when the bike was brand new. I mean right out of the shop, day 2, red plate, super shiny. Then 2 weeks later I got another one. After that 2 years no punctures. The first puncture was a tack and the second punture was a piece of a broken beer bottle. Someone told me it is a spiteful tradition here to puncture other people's new bikes on red plates. I don't know if this is what happened but it was parked in a communal condo car park and then 2 years with no further punctures.

Unfortunately I'm all too experienced in this facet of Thainess.

Happens me when I get a new set of tyres. Well did, it was the security guards at work screwing screws in them. And a razor blade (in a small wooden block) on one occasion.

Just a few of many instances of petty, retarded Thais vandalizing my property as they can't handle me having it and they not.

    Beautiful culture eh.
