I have recently moved to Australia.I am banking with Westpac.i have tried to transfer money to Bangkok Bank,Chiang Mai branch online.The swiftcode is BKKBTHBK.

Always worked from Ireland

However Westpac is not accepting it,saying it is either

BKKBTHBKXXX or

BKKBTHBKTRD.

Can anybody advise on this.

Hi all.I entered on a visa exempt.I would like to change to non o based on tambien baan and my sons birth cert.is it that eady.or am I missing something here.

I arrived in Thailand and recieved the 30.day visa waiver.thinking I was going back to work in two weeks.the job got cancelled.my 30 days are up.could.I possibly do a few border runs and receive 14 days each.or should I go to and embassy and apply for a tourist visa.The way things ate now am I likely to run into trouble with immigration?thanks

Before travelling to any country,especially a country with a different religion,customs etc.do you homework and try not to offend..guide books have a section called do,s and dont,s.easy to follow and you will enjoy a hassle free holiday.

I was in the food hall in the basement of Central Chidlom a few months back. There was a very Hiso Thai Girl looking girl dressed to the nines with her high heels Guess Bag and what looked like a nice pair of shorts and white T Shirt. Quite stunning from behind. However, I guess she couldn't speak a word of English because when she turned round on the front of her T Shirt it said " Muff Divers Club, No Muff too Tuff". I laughed so hard she gave me a really filthy look, but it was worth it.
