10 rich Thai men will be able to get rid of you a lot easier than you will be able to get rid of them....
Banglamung Police have become angry with these rich Thai people from Bangkok. The police have set up a box with a notebook in it. A policeman comes several times a day, checking that everything is fine, and then he writes his name, date and time in the notebook.
I also have a guard 24/7 10 meters from my house.

With Swedens health care system I pay maximum 9,100 baht/year.
In Thailand I would have pay 165,000/year for the same medication.
In the last 40 years I have always taken medicine from Sweden. Customs has seen my medicine but never asked to see my doctor's certificate.

I have the same problem with my neighbor, 5 to 10 rich Thai men come with hired prostitutes and have party all night.
Complained to the police, Amphur, Pattaya City and others. Nothing more has happened than mediation has taken place.
Now I will sue him for criminal activity. In order not to be detained and imprisoned waiting for triel he has to pay bail and may not leave the country until a trial in the Supreme Court has ended in 8 to 10 years.

In Immigration Rayong you walk in, apply for one year Retirement Visa and Multiple Reentry and walk out 30 minutes later with your passports and stamps.

You don't need to be married to get a yellow book!
I am not married, got my yellow book in Rayong Province and my Pink ID-card at City Hall Pattaya (took about 15 minutes to get). I was No 52 to get a Pink ID-card in Pattaya.

Buy the house in the child's name.
My two children own the house we live in. The children's parents are both guardians. If dad dies, mom becomes lone guardian. If she wants to sell the house, she must turn to court. Normally, the only reason that court allows her to sell the house, is that money is needed to pay for food and school for the child. Get a life insurance that pays out monthly to your child, then it will be enough money for food and school for your child and the mother cannot sell the house. -
AMEX always waive the anual fee for me.

I got an Thai (Airways) AMEX Platinum with 160,000 unsecured credit without Thai work permit or Thai salary six years ago.
Every year they have increased the unsecured credit. Now I have 840,000 baht without asking for it.
By using the card I collect miles which I use for a free business class trip to Europe each year.

According to Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) a Mercedes-Benz in Thailand is only a Mercedes-Benz sold by Mercedes-Benz (Thailand).
Fortunately for me there are better workshops than the Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) has. The competitors have their computers connected directly to Mercedes-Benz headquarters in Germany. Probably, Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) has realized that their cars are second to the cars manufactured in Germany.
My advice to all is to buy a directly imported Mercedes-Benz from Germany. A good company is NK Benz in Bangkok, which also has a first-class garage.

The problem in Pattaya is that it is almost impossible to get the 25% owners to come to an AGM / EGM and vote for a candidate.
-
If he meets all other requirements for WP, for example, salary 50,000 baht per month.
-
If AGM not gets enough votes (minimum 25% of all co-owners) for JPM the committee has to vote for JPM among the committee members.
The Chairman can be elected JPM.
Person married to co-owner can be voted in as committee members.
The JPM can only be a Thai citizen because you are working as a JPM.
To be member in a committee is not considered as work.
The JPM can resign by himself or be “sacked” by minimum of 25% of co-owners at a AGM or EGM.

Since last Friday, it has to flown noxious poison in a klong that start on the other side of Sukhumvit Road, going under Sukhumvit and along Sukhumvit Soi 2 (near Djittapawan Buddhist College) into the sea off Naklua. It smells like acid. All the fish have died. Today it floats white foam. The ocean outside our house has become black and opaque. Fish and plants have died.
My wife called 1337 Pattaya Contact Center. She talked to a woman who said they would not do anything unless my wife found out which company that dumped the poison and after that came in person to City Hall and made a written statement.
When I called and spoke to a lady who spoke English, she said that they would send out an official any(!) day.
Had it been in my home country, the authority had acted immediately and cleaned up the poison. Here in Thailand, nobody cares.
Take my advice and do not swim in Naklua where there is strong poison in the water.

I just called them and the said that normal time from USA with service "GM Packet Plus Priority" is 3 weeks.
I think I use the Post Office next time.
-
The letter came to Bangkok last Friday. I talk about the long way from USA to Bangkok, 3 week so far. I went from California to Germany to Bangkok.
-
Have been waiting for nearly 3 weeks for a letter that weighs 79 grams and comes from the United States.
It has now come to Bangkok.
Must probably wait 1 week more before it comes to Rayong.
Anyone with similar experience with DHL?

Permanent residents do not have yellow books. They are registered in blue house books.
So show your blue book then. You will get the same pink ID-card as a person with yellow book, the only difference is that your ID-card number starts with an "8" and the one with a yellow book get an ID-card with number that starts with an "6".

Show your yellow house book and you get your pink ID-card for 60 baht.

I've done it twice in 2010 and 2013.
Fix a lawyer, then meeting with social services. In Rayong, it was next to the court and in Chonburi was in Juvenile Prison. When they have completed their investigation the Juvenile Court will call you and the mother.

Does not understand why most foreigners living in Thailand think all Thai are killers. They believe that all Thai people resolve a conflict with a foreigner by killing the foreigner. My suggestion is that you move home so you do not have to meet any Thai people.
