Only once in 10 years has a hotel demanded to see my passport and not accepted my driving licence. I just went to a different hotel very nearby

I get the same message every time for the last 2 years. Usually a minimum of 5-7 day's for me and it doesn't make a difference which UK bank I send from or which Thai Bank I receive it in

Sirineou I fully understand and agree with you, the annoying thing is covid is the excuse for everything. There is no consistency or logic in any of the enforcement. I live here so have to put up with it but always find ways to get around these types of issues 555
