  1. Hi i search multiple times, but cant find information if you do support thai child, custodian to thai child and wanna do 1 year extension, do you need to drag your kids to immigration? or only if you do wife extension you need your wife there? i would rather not wait with small kids at immigration for ours, would be a disaster. but i not saw anywhere they require the kids to be there, or do they? thank you
  2. Hello, some say 7 days, some say 24 days, and some say 0... so how many days i have officially if divorce on a 1 year marriage extansion, to leave country and not be on overstay? (if 0... and if I not meet any other extension , because money is not in the bank now... what is my best option, to get a few weeks?? can i get extension 60 days based on child, or any other emergency extension? or just go to immigration tell them the truth, pay 1900thb and they give me an under consideration stamp even if i have nothing ???) please help thank you
  3. Hi i just got my 1 year extension, but i have to leave country soon on an urgent business matter... when i came to Thailand with my Non O visa, it said the covid insurance has to be the lenght of the entry stamped in, so 90 days so what about when peoples come with Re entry permit??? what is the length i should get for covid insurance??? anybody come in recently with entry permit through the test and go?? THANK YOU
  4. Hi all, im going soon to pick up my 1 year extension based on thai wife at hua hin immigration, i have the under consideration stamp in my passport. - do i need to bring anything with me this round? or only passport? (like the women said not to go under 400k during the consideration period, do i need to update passbook again and show the it didnt go under 400k??) - also which counter to go? do i need to go up again to the 2nd floor? or have a fast track counter somewhere for the ones who come to pick up 1 year extension? (if i have to go up again, push same button? 1 year extension??) thank you for any input or help
  5. Thank you all for the replies, really useful infos. maybe a fool question, i not really update much my bankbook... so if i get the bank letter the day before... but i will go to update my bankbook at a machine early morning - is there an option on the machine to just print the balance with todays date on the bankbook? - or you must make a transaction if you want the bankbook to update? (becouse it say the bank letter must match the bankbook amount... so maybe transfer 100 baht to my wife account, she transfer it back.. then update bankbook? so the amount will match the previous day? or how you guys do it?? (i just really dont want to wait until 8,30 for the bank to open, as i like to be there at immigration way before opening)
  6. Hi im about to do my marriage visa extension at Hua hin. about the 400.000 baht money in the bank option. the requirement say: "Confirmation letter from thai bank and copy of bank book at least 400,000 baht........ Also update the bank book to current day." so if my understanding correct only the bank book need to be the same day as the application is submitted?? (the bank letter can be the day before??) as every bank here open around 9 am, it would be a real headache to go to et a bank letter first then go to immigration when its already full armed with a witness..... while the bank book i can update at 6am too at any machine that's fine... so i can go to 8am to immigration. so my question, is the bank letter can be from previous day? only bank book has to be updated to same day right? thank you so much
  7. Hi im getting confused with all the rules. i see that Hua hin immigration require a witness for 1 year marriage extension but some say you not need it if you have kids? I have 2 kids. so do we need a witness? (also see some peoples say witness id and tabien bahn copy enough, no need to be there in person) it would be hard for us to get a witness, in person, as just moved to hua hin an has no friends, also the condo is empty we have no neighbors..lol thank you for any advise or experiance
  8. this is the checklist they gave me today and they said letter from embassy needed, and only this 60 day extension can do... no wife no kids...
  9. can anybody please link a section from official immigration source about the 60 day wife extension, so i can print out and show it in they face at hua hin immigration?
  10. Hi i had some business around HUA HIN immigration today morning, so i thought i drive there and ask about my upcoming extension due in January. i wanted to ask about the 60 day extension for Non O visa based on Thai wife, as it should be enough for me as only plan to stay until February. waited in line for the information counter, then to my surprise when i started asking about what they need for the 60 days extension based on thai wife, she bougt a paper showing what they need for Covid extension. i said to her there is 60 day extension for Non o visa holders for family reasons like having thai wife or kids. she said no sir, ONLY COVID 60 day extesnion, or have to do 1 year extesnion based on thai wife. i insisted , so she asked the next woman in the next counter, she said the same, sir only covid 60 days extension possible, or have to do 1 year extension with withness, 400k in bank, photos etc,... its a headache... the covid extension 60 dyas they also require a paper from embassy stating i cant travel back due to covid, i think i cant even get such thing as airlines operating just fine.... so is it true?? anybody had 60 day extension at hua hin recently based on thai wife??? is it possible to do 60day extension based on thai wife in other Immigration office??? (if hua hin really not do it?) thank you
  11. Hi all, just recently moved to Hua Hin from bangkok, we had a house in bangkok, and moved to a condo in Hua Hin, and i start getting confused with all the differences it bring... first internet, i was told we can only have some low speed condo internet, from ais or 3bb both offer condo vdsl internet 50/20 speed, which is a joke, it not even enough for netflix i think.. the condo management said to thats all i can get... im thinking now the ais 5g unlimited sim, and a 5g router, maybe thats my only solution for a decent internet here??? they say no fiber optic possible :((( 2. is the TV, right now have some digital topbox which only have 50 somehting free thai channels. is there any other cable tv provider to offer packages here other than TRUE? i need some decent foreign news channel possible HD quality... that s all i need (internet tv out of the question again as currently 50/20 vdsl is teh max they said possible.. and the ais 5g sim internet im not sure either how fast can be here, maybe as usual only works 4g or 4g plus. so any ideas for a decent cable provider in condo? i ahvent lived ina condo before honestly have no idea how this all works (sate;;ite dishes not allowed by condo managent as well) i would be thankful for any experiences or ideas thank you
  12. HI i was just wondering as i have both, thai wife and 2 thai kids, if im to make a 1 year extension, which one is easier??
