Thank you all for your replies. I will suggest to him, maybe a 60 day tourist visa. That will give him time to get everything in order. Although, that should not be a problem as I will be driving him around and sorting everything. It depends which is easier for him to obtain in the US I guess.

An American friend of mine is coming to Thailand on a 30 day visa exempt. He wants to know if he can extend it a further 30 days at Chonburi immigration. Is it possible and if so, what documents are required? Thank you for any help.

One of very many??? I see only the OP saying the opposite. And as DrJack54 said, maybe he made a mistake or is using the old app. I have done it 3 times now. It takes about 1 minute to complete. And is usually approved in a day or so. Why is that difficult?

He literally says - "My agent charges 500 baht for 90 day reporting". 90 day, not an extension.

Why pay when it is so easy and quick to do online now?

My son also went there for 6 years. He was very happy there, and it seemed very well run. He was in the Thai school, not the international. He had been to 3 different schools in Bkk before, International and bi-lingual. He was happiest here at Satit. Acceptable prices too. He also had no problems getting into university after he finished.

I had my booster last Saturday at Jittaphawan Temple. Walk in. Choice of Moderna or Pfizer. I think it is open until the end of April. Very quick and efficient. Just take your passport and either vaccine certificate or show Mor Phrom.

A friend of mine from the US came and tested positive. He has 2 Pfizer's and a booster in the US. Negative test on the flight out. He demanded to get another test and was told by the doctor, sure he can have as many as he pays for. He can have 10, they can all be negative. BUT, the first one was positive and that's the one that counts. Wasted 7 days of his holiday, wasn't happy.

Just heard from my ex wife. She has a bar on a side road, off Tree Town. The bars are allowed to open from next week until 11pm. New Years eve until 1am.
