We are getting to the stage where as an expat, if I returned to the UK and walked around certain districts wearing a bowler hat I would have to careful about being arrested for being an openly white Englishman. What a sad and sorry place my home country has become. If I had remained in the country would my presence stopped the degeneration? Of course not. It's the elected politicians who have allowed and encouraged it. I shall never return. So sad.

That's a kind of discrimination. Probably this person doesn't want to be addressed as Ladyboy but just as a part of a divers community.
? Would you like it if someone would address you as gay??? (In case you are)? I doubt it!
I wonder if 'divers' was a spelling mistake? Muff diving is not to be sneezed at. But I thought, generally to be practiced by the straight community. 😉

The non-horn-using readers are obviously saints and they will get their reward in heaven. As of me, well whenever someone on the road makes a mistake my put my fist on the horn for about 5 minutes straight. Despite warnings from the family, I haven't been killed yet.
R.I.P.😆

Ahh. You're getting upset over hearsay. Got it. 👍🏻
Are they hearsay? And I'm certainly not upset. Just making an observation.

Never toot to say thank you! How would you ever expect anybody to understand that gesture???
As for all these machete duals and punch ups you seem to be getting into.... All I can say is it's never happened to me. Are you just giving a gentle 'bip' to let somebody know you're there? Or are you holding the horn down for a great big long 'beeeeeeeeeep'?
I don't think I wrote that I got into any duels. I was referring to the everyday reports of them. All a bit like Monty Python's 'You may not pass!'

I know the stock answer is he comes from a wealthy family. If his family is that wealthy, why is he a policeman? While they are at it also check all other high-ranking officials
Maybe women marry policemen because it allows them to grease the wheels in the interests of their businesses?

Neither do I. But its the same with giving a flash of high beam. In the UK, it is, or was, I haven't been back in years, used to indicate to a long side vehicle that it was safe for it to pull back into your lane after overtaking. Or allow another vehicle to cross in front of you.

What is it in Thailand where just giving a toot on the horn to indicate you may cross in front of me. Thankyou for letting me pass or for any reason is considered a challenge to a duel. Using fisticuffs, pipes, machetes, or anything that comes to hand. Perhaps horns should not be fitted to vehicles driven in Thailand. Fragile egos can't handle them.

Sitting in the kitchen watching YouTube on the PC , it starts raining ,well drizzle really ,then a gust of wind blows through the window ,then a Bang ! off in distance , Electric goes off,
it's not thunder I know that sound well now ,it's a transformer blowing up , well I don't actually know if the transformer blows or if they have fuses, but it's a big bang.
It's only rained 2 times this year and been windy and both times a Transformer has blown , electric off , so it's not looking good for the rainy season ,when it starts ,
It's not as though I am out of the way ,it's a Moo Bahn , and if I could stand on my roof ,two story ,I could see the Electrical plant ,maybe 3 Kilo away , so am I living in a twilight zone ,where everytime the wind blows and it rains the electric goes off, or is there anyone else that has the same problems ? over an hour later it has come back on.
The problem is just not mine, there's a wet market ,many other shops , a Tops but I see they have a big generator and it's been going on for years.
Thailand wants to be the Hub of everything ,buy Subs,Fighter jets, Space ,give everybody 10K,would be better spent on the Hub of reliable Utilities , then there's the water supply .........maybe for another time
regards worgeordie

Even more relevant, is it easy to fix during a storm when the ship just won't stay still ( EVERYTHING breaks, and usually at the worst possible moment )?
You mean when the ship is being naughty and doing what ships do when afloat?😉 But modern tanks now have sights that stay locked onto a target. Not like the Cromwell I was on in the early 50s. Happy days.

In three years? Maybe three years too late. Will the Royal Navy have any manned ships in three years? A report I read recently said that crews could not be mustered to man the Destroyer support ships for the British Aircraft Carrier and it couldn't put to sea. How embarrassing. Britannia rules the waves.? What a joke. 1938 all over again. Caught with our trousers down.😒

I don't believe it. I doubt the cops would put the accused in the front seat. More likely the driver cocked up and crashed. Casting the blame on the accused.
