  1. For Accommodation, I chose OTHER For the Address in Malaysia, I put N/A For State and City, I chose Perlis and added 02000 for a Perlis Postcode After submitting, you will receive an email that says - Auto-Reply: Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) - Registration Acknowledgement.
  2. I had to do a 90-day border hop for my ME Non-O yesterday. and as usual, I went to the Wang Pracahn border in Satun. To my surprise, you now have to register your details on this website - https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main before you stamp in on the Malaysia side. It's pretty straightforward until they ask for details about where you will stay in Malaysia, similar to the Laos visa. I had no intentions of staying there so just put N/A on the form for hotel details. The form can't be completed unless you add a postal code so I added 02000 for Perlis. After submitting you will receive an email that says - Auto-Reply: Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) - Registration Acknowledgement You then show this to Malaysia Immigration with your passport and then they will process your stamp. All the info you need is here - https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main Just wanted to give anyone going to Malaysia a heads-up about the new rules.
  3. The great awakening has already started in Thailand. There's a clip of Pita speaking English saying it's the end of the New World Order. I guess this is why he isn't PM......yet.
  4. A true legend of the board has been lost. He helped me and others so many times. Deeply saddened and he will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace, dear Joe
  5. If anyone is going to this border try and skip Friday, it's very busy! I was there today before 10am and lots of tourists. I was told by Imm staff this was normal for a Friday. As a bonus the fee for coming back the same day was lowered from 1500 to 1300 baht, which is nice.
  6. Wang Prachan Border Visit Today. I got there in the morning at around 9:30 am, I was the only farang there at the time and it was pretty quiet. I wanted to come back the same day so the imm guy directed me to a second window further down, the imm lady told me it would be 1500 baht so paid that and had to take my passport back to the first window to be stamped out. I was given a bright orange sticker to show whoever that I'd paid. After stamping in and out in Malaysia I was stamped back into Thailand and the whole process took around 20 mins. As I was leaving, it started to get a lot busier so I would suggest to anyone going, get there early in the morning to avoid long queues. Hope this helps
  7. Did your friend go from Tamalang pier, and did he need to stay a night or did he return the same day? If so I may try this, thank you
  8. I called Immigration today about mine pending since the 2nd of November. The lady told me they are aware of it, and it only happens with some applications, she said I can cancel it and try again or go to my local Imm office. I went there today and I told them about it, and I received the email saying my application was approved a few minutes later. The staff gave me an updated form and put it in my passport. All went okay. If you don't get approval after 3-4 days I'd cancel it and try again. I only had 2 days left of the 7 day grace period to report so thought it best to go directly to the office.
  9. Hello, I intend to visit the Satun Wang Prachan border crossing this month and was just wondering if anyone has been there there recently, if so is it all things as usual i.e like before covid, no need for covid tests, vaccine certs, and can still come back the same day like before? Thank you kindly!
  10. https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dls/locs/2021/07-21-2021-lab-alert-Changes_CDC_RT-PCR_SARS-CoV-2_Testing_1.html I wonder how many people over the last 2 years tested positive for Covid, when infact it was just the flu, due the now unreliable RC/PCR test.
  11. This is brilliant thank you for doing this! I've added a link that shows details about the vaccination rates per district ( thai only sorry ) so we can see how well the vaccines are doing in each district. 12. Source - https://www.rt.com/news/540442-gibraltar-cancels-christmas-covid/ Amid a surge in Covid-19 cases, Gibraltar has canceled official Christmas events and “strongly” discouraged people from hosting private gatherings for four weeks. Gibraltar’s entire eligible population is vaccinated. The government of Gibraltar recently announced that “official Christmas parties, official receptions and similar gatherings” have been canceled, and advised the public to avoid social events and parties for the next four weeks. Outdoor spaces are recommended over indoor ones, touching and hugging is discouraged, and mask wearing is advised. “The drastic increase in the numbers of people testing positive for Covid-19 in recent days is a stark reminder that the virus is still very prevalent in our community and that it is the responsibility of us all to take every reasonable precaution to protect ourselves and our loved ones,” Health Minister Samantha Sacramento said. Gibraltar, a tiny British Overseas Territory sharing a land border with Spain, has seen an average of 56 Covid-19 cases per day over the last seven days, up from fewer than 10 per day in September. The rise in cases, described by the government as “exponential,” comes despite Gibraltar having the highest vaccination rate in the world. More than 118% of Gibraltar’s population are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with this figure stretching beyond 100% due to doses given to Spaniards who cross the border to work or visit the territory every day. Masks are still required in shops and on public transport. The initial vaccine campaign on the British outpost came to a conclusion in early spring 2021, with a large proportion of the population fully inoculated against Covid-19. It became one of the first places in Europe to reduce restrictions following a winter of lockdowns, in what was dubbed ‘Operation Freedom’. Gibraltar is currently doling out booster doses to the over-40s, healthcare workers, and other “vulnerable groups,” and administering vaccines to children aged between five and 12. Similarly well-vaccinated countries have also reported surges in Covid-19 infections recently. In Singapore, where 94% of the eligible population have been inoculated, cases and deaths soared to record highs at the end of October, and have since subsided slightly. In Ireland, where around 92% of the adult population is fully vaccinated, cases of Covid-19 and deaths from the virus have roughly doubled since August.
