Hi

I have 2013 CBR150i now on 1300 km. Few days ago I bought akrapovic carbon full set exhaust from Teera Motorcycle and installing was done there. Sound quite cool when compare with stock exhaust however most of time when I let off throttle and slowing down exhaust making small booming sound. Its like small explosion. I wonder if it's normal. And if its not normal will my Honda dealership can fix that?

It is quite normal what your hearing.

It comes from lessening the exhaust restriction/baffling

Some will say you have a leaner condition some will say richer.

(arguments can rage about that one )

You can now add a EFI controller like power commander etc. to lessen it & take

more advantage of your less restricted bike if you want.

That aside what you can do right now to lessen it is when decelerating completely let the throttle close

It will probably not pop at all or very slightly. The popping mainly occurs at partial closure/ slightly open throttle while decelerating.

Of course may not always be feasible but try it as it is easier done than explained

So I wonder where I can buy PowerCommander in Bangkok and tuned by professional?

I decided to buy a new motorcycle. CBR150R , my problem is every year honda change colors and designs on fairing. For example 2013 I like red one alot , it's much better than 2011 & 2012 model reds.

I checked web for 2014 models but didn't get any reliable information about 2014 colors and design.So I wonder when actually Honda Thailand going to show new year models in their website (AP Honda still show 2013 model).

If I were you , I should wait for 2014. CBR250R will get facelift to become more like CBR1000RR style. New CBR250 will be shown at Tokyo Motor Show on 22nd this month. Also check motor show at Impact this month so maybe Honda can show it there. If not I bet we will see it on Febuary.

Hey RubberSideDown, I see in your list you have AGV Sport Willow perforated leather pants. I am interest to buy this pant but not sure if it's so hot for bangkok. So I hope you can share your experience with these pants. If it's really gets hot , my second choice will be AGV Sport Telluride H2O Vented Pants. Thx in advance.
