  1. Was also told by my local immigration office yesterday, that they had been informed Covid extensions will cease shortly. But it is Thailand things change all the time and you never get the full story????
  2. I am staying in Thailand till mid March on a non-O and then a visa extension, have had two doses of Astra in the UK 6 months ago and need to get a booster sorted here in Thailand, is this possible? Any tips or pointers where I can get this booked ASAP. Thanks for any help
  3. Did an online application last month, visa approved and issued electronically within 48 hours. Have always found the Embassy in London to be efficient, even turning the old postal applications around in 3-4 days. Though you can never get through on the phone they do respond to emails within a day or two if you have any queries
  4. Just got back to Thailand on a non-o based on marriage to a Thai. Apply for your E-visa first, very quick and easy to do, now no need to send passport to embassy. I just sent them a recent bank statement from an account with 2k in. For the accommodation side, sent them a copy of the wife’s blue house book and for the flight just a copy of a quote/itinerary COE just as easy, all online, book insurance first, once pre approved you can book rest. You may only need to book a quarantine hotel for the first night, things may change form Nov 1st
  5. I just took photos on smart phone using Microsoft lens pdf scanner, which is free to download. For the photo of myself I just took a selfie against a plain background. As long as any photos are clear and you can read documents , there shouldn’t be a problem. The key one is the copy of your passport data page, as the system automatically extracts data from this. was very impressed how easy it all was.
  6. Have recently applied for my non-O E-visa at the Thai Embassy in London. Everything is now done online, all documents uploaded and now no need to send passport off, with a digital electronic visa emailed to you, you just need to print it off. Quick, easy and straightforward to do yourself, took 4 working days to get the visa. COE similarly straightforward, just get all the documents together beforehand and don’t forget to hit the upload button when adding documents. First class service for the RTE in London.
  7. I have applied for my COE and had pre approval from the Thai Embassy in London. COVID insurance done, trying to book flights, had intended flying out on Oct 14th, the flight I provisionally chosen has been cancelled, but available next day. If I book for the next day 15th does this effect my final approval for COE and insurance (which will expire several weeks after my return to the UK)
