One more question if l can. l read somewhere in another forum that the Garmins in Thailand are modified in some way, l was planning on buying mine in Australia and putting a card in for the Thai Map does anybody know if there is any truth to that?}

Hi All

Will be in Kalasin and Khon Kaen for 7 weeks then moving to Yang Talat next year, whilst l have been there many times over the last 22 years l have always been a passenger, this time l am renting a car so l want to use a GPS, have any of you used a GPS in Kalasin and Khon Kaen if so do they work well in those towns?
