    Is the last comment irony?

Not sure under which premise you understand it, but I prefer desktop to mobile simply for being able to see n-images on 1 screen rather than 1 image 3/4 cut off. Also, tabs. If I'm looking and comparing, I often have 10+ tabs open switching between them, with mobile I'm forced to constantly go back and/or open a new window and its a cluster<deleted>.

If the irony comment is solely in regards to constantly getting the unusual traffic thing, then yes kinda of, BUT still preferrable to mobile for me. That said, disabling ublock has alleviated this problem quite a bit, as a workaround I'll accept that. For now.

I use Shopee all the time.  If you use Chrome or Opera browser with the Google Translate app, you just click translate to whatever language you want and it will translate the entire page.

Both Lazada and Shopee are horrible search engines.  You can literally copy and paste the listing heading you are looking at on each of their sites and do a search and it will say "not found"  When looking for items, I often use google search for the item and insert the word Thailand or Lazada, or Shopee.  Look in images on Google and you will see the ads appear.  You click on those and voila, it takes you to the Lazada or Shopee site and the item you have searched for.

I feel you. Yesterday I looked up 18650 battery, magically got no result, popped into google images and voila, more than enough results. Back to Lazada and it works like nothing happened. Now to do research about the correct battery hehe

I use the translate features as needed, but them not having native support is such an oversights it's unreal.

  2. Haven't found a solution to it, happens on every browser and just Lazada which is an inefficient site to begin with. I'd love to switch to Shopee but these geniuses are too incompetent to capitalize on non native speakers for their desktop version, otherwise they could leech the ever living <deleted> out of Lazada users. Not just the constant unusual traffic, but now more often they want email verification over and over again, too annoyed, can't be bothered anymore.

Mobile is a no go for me, way too inefficient and slow for my liking.

They need a hard shoulder only for breakdowns and emergency vehicles.  Anyone else that drives in it gets fined in a dungeon.

Not only would it print money but also the ambulance can get to the hospital faster.

You mean the hard shoulder that turns into a new "current lanes +1 for us who can't wait" hard shoulder?

I have those here as well, whenever police assumes control of the traffic lights and subsequentially gridlocks the entire city, I tend to make it a rule to block the hard shoulder from those who use it to cut infront and slow down traffic even more....provided I get stuck in there. Occasionally I get honked at ????

Bad part, I gotta wave in an out because the genius behind me doesn't understand I'm blocking hard shoulder from people passing (us) and don't mean for them to move into my spot.

On another note, Ambulances have a serious issue with sirens, 8/10 I can barely hear 2 car lenghts behind me because it's just _that_ quiet.

Maybe you should read it again

However, Thanakarn cooked the pork after cutting out the pus-filled areas. :jap:

An investigation has been launched after a Tak resident cut into a joint of cooked pork only to find it was riddled with a puss-filled abscess.

We clearly have a mismatch between statement given/written and image shown. While I've never experience that before, to my understanding puss is a liquid, yet the picture shows something more solid. Imagine  a cooked egg with a runny yolk, once you cut it, the yolk should be flowing to some degree, nothing like that pictured in the OP.

Again, not familiar with this scenario, but either we are dealing with a photoshop or a mismatch between what we can see vs what we get to read, so I wouldn't also exactly put it past we are dealing with some sort of splitting hairs in regards to calling it puss vs whatever or a wrong translation/typo of some sort.

  5. I like how we all have access to the same videos, ergo see the very same thing, but arrive at 2 polar opposite conclusions. How? Why? I dunno, but chances are by the time I turn 40 I probably have given up on my "...but I do think most people are inherently good and not calculating malicious dip<deleted>s on a daily basis" thoughts. I mean, I'd like to be proven wrong by then but the way it's going, eh.

    When did he admit assault?

I might have lightly pushed her out of the bedroom at this stage

The bar is so low nowadays (or rather, especially, in our cucked western nations) that it would qualify as an admission of assault against a woman. Most people still perceive men as aggressors and women as victims by default despite tons of evidence to the contrary. The bigotry of low expectations and some such.

If any extra punishment is needed, it's for lying that they didn't hear the ambulence, but then if you start punishing Thai people for lying...

Actually not sure I'd agree to this overall. Considering the amounts of Ambulances I've seen/heard so far, many of them could use a volume up as I, listening to "normal volume" music, can barely hear them 10m behind me, I usually see them long before I can hear them while they are being slowed down by not way giving dip<deleted>s. Either way if an ambulance is tailing you with sirens and lights on for a while and you still don't make way asap, there shouldn't be any excuse that should save you. Not hearing it is one thing, not seeing it is a whole different one.

I also don't know how prevalent it is for ambulances to just drive with lights on but sirens off just for the sake of it (otherwise still adhering to normal traffic rules). iirc they aren't allowed do just that, but I also wouldn't know if they are indeed having a patient in the car or not, as it's iirc not strictly required to use the siren to get emergency vehicle priority, either way I make way....but the sentiment is there, which is a problem.

This is just one problem of a seemingly endless list in regards to driving here, but it would be nice if that list would get started being worked on at all, regardless of priority.

  8. Some genius should make a graph/infoslide with a bunch of information (as inaccurate it may be overall) such as start of Delivery Company, restaurants joined, take away vs dine in numbers, a side by side list of profit restaurant vs delivery company and whatever else have you....

...perfect case study to understanding how cancer works and spreads.

would I be required to change my work permit to include the new company name or would it still be the same?

I had to go to the Labor Department and submit a bunch of documents (iirc passport, company registration, director IDs...not sure if more, didnt quite check what was missing from my stack which was for other purposes to begin with),and then they updated a page in the book. Didn't get a new one, aka old information on the main page but an entry toward the last pages with stamp, along with 3 pages.

1 stating having left the current place of employment

1 stating having been hired by new place of employment

1 stating working for (now) current place of employment (or so the translation/explanation I've been given).

Should be fairly hassle free overall.
