Or is it a lack of understanding of where we actually came from ?

There are different "theories" surrounding that .

"Perhaps, if we had stayed in the trees, rather than having climbed down to venture into the savanna, then our species would have been happier and less lethal to both ourselves and other species. "

    Is but one such theory.

Maybe we will never be given the opportunity to "decide" anything. Maybe its already been decided and clock is ticking.

I always liked that theory. We have gone from being too smart for our own good to too dumb for out own good imho. See very little worth saving in a population hypnotised by smart phones taking endless photos of themselves whilst watching people eat food on tik tok.

  2. If you have travelled to Thailand frequently you will now your chances of getting stopped and your bag xrayed as virtually zero. I often you used to bring a few bottles with me and have never had a drama. In fact there were times i have sat the clear duty free bag in the top tray of the baggage trolley with multiple bottles in it and never had a drama. If it's only a one off for you I would take the chance you will most likely get them through. If by some rare chance you get xrayed and its an issue be like a Thai and play dumb.

I obviously was raised differently, with a different set of 'business related' ethics / opinions.

Unless a scam, fairly obvious PP isn't, then I'd feel no need to advise folks to shop elsewhere.  As stated, I thought rude.

Most intelligent 'shoppers' know any product can be purchased for more or less from different vendors.

Quality or customer services opinions always welcomed.  The rest of non-positive postings, I felt as inappropriate, no more, no less.  Just my expressed opinion, which I also have the right to express.

Personally, I would have locked the thread to comments after posting.  Anyone interested, actually interested, instead of knocking said vendor, would simply contact them with queries.

As always, negative comments need to be taken with a grain of salt, possible bias due to a vested interest elsewhere .... Just a thought.

Lesson learned, and added to those 'growing pains'.

Yep and I am not limiting your right to your opinion, for someone who was raised so well and is so intelligent maybe you could extend me the same courtesy.

For all you naysayers, PrickPot is getting close to selling out their stock of weed....Trust me folks price is not so important if you can have weed delivered to your house or condo, with a few mouse clicks....

Plus they offer COD to boot.....So no need to pay immediately...

Many line, Facebook, and other companies also offer home delivery.

I must have got this wrong! When I went to the site and selected 7 grams of Blue OG (16% THC) the price was quoted at 4,200 baht. That would be about CAD 154.00 for a quarter ounce. That can't be right, can it? Here in Canada, I can buy an ounce (28 grams) of higher-potency cannabis (even from the Ontario gov't stores) for less.

Soon you will get the will if you can't afford it don't buy it....go buy cheap bricks, if you don't like this store go elsewhere etc etc. Apparently not allowed to comment on price without being accused of being a cheap Charlie.

If it is too expensive for you then don't bother.   Why post if you can't afford it?   It is an extremely new market with legalisation announced very suddenly and very recently.  You do understand supply and demand?  And it is 100% NOT a buyer's market!!  There is not enough supply.  Don't you understand this?  You obviously do not.

The OP already explained this and said when the supply chain stabilises then prices will come down.  If you can't afford 600-700 then wait until it comes down to 300-400 and stop moaning.

This site is the absolute worst place to advertise anything for sale,  Too many complainers who can't afford it anyway or have no intention of buying, just want a moan.   I tried to sell a car on here once and just had people saying the price was crazy and doesn't compare to America even though they have no idea about Thai import duties and couldn't afford the car anyway,.  People live to moan here.  So sad.

Kudos to PrikPot for actually replying to so many people.  I wouldn't bother, and seems they are doing pretty well without you.

Im allowed to comment and when a company that sponsors this forum is telling me I'm in a buyers market im allowed to retort has nothing to do with me being able to afford it. Get off your high horse mate.

Im not moaning im pointing out a fact in response to something that was told to me by someone trying to flog something. You want to buy it go right ahead but please refrain from presuming about someone you know nothing about in your self righteous monotone. Maybe you should read the whole thread instead of cherry picking a single comment so you can understand the context in which it was written. But thank you for agreeing with me in the fact that it's definitely not a buyers market which is what I stated and not prikpot. Hoo roo

Our prices are great for the quality and service our customers get, and our sales clearly shows that. Comparing comparing apples and oranges does not benefit anyone.

So you don't know what a buyers market is? That's alright I'll help you....

    1. an economic situation in which goods or shares are plentiful and buyers can keep prices down.

Agree with you too on this. International prices for premium quality is around $10-15 per gram if sold online. We are sure it will drop to those levels here too, in time. As stated above, like in any retail business, you can find cheaper on the street, Line-sellers etc. They do not carry the overheads as more professional retailers do, and also do not offer the same level as service.

It all depends what you are willing to pay for it and what level of service you require. It is a free market, and at the moment it is the buyer's market. ????

Um not at your ridiculous prices it is definitely not a buyers market. How the hell are you in sales?

Except that many ladies are lazy and don’t want drinks. Happy to get salary, even if they get money deducted for not making quota.

Maybe in crappy beer bars out soi bukhao. I been around a while mate and your talking about gogo girls. The ones I know are earners they sure af wouldn't be doing it for 20k a month lol.

But then again I crave and chase the grouse not some lazy, 2 bob hooker that can't even be bothered grafting.

There's girls who have been making 3000 baht a short time for years now off mug punters don't tell me they making 20k a month when they pull that down in a few days lol. The girls you knock around may be  bit different though.

Come December lots of people (most of them of retirement age) like to escape the cold winters so they fly off to somewhere warm for a few months.

In truth 90 days isn't enough for the whole winter. I know people who time their visits and departures based on the maximum amount of time they're allowed with a visa free entry - 30 days + a 30 day extension - then they stop spending money and go home.

The only reason they limit their stay to 60 days is because they don't want to send their passport off to a notoriously badly run embassy staffed by imbeciles and unless you leave the country and come back again then 60 days is the maximum stay - so they just go home instead.

Does that cover it for you?

So a decrepit  retiree dodging the winter would be considered the "average" tourist to you? ????????????????

The other flipside is that it will attract those backpackers/visa runners with hardly any money to stay longer in Thailand.

It's good to extend the visa exemption but make sure that they distinguish true tourists from those visa-runners who want to stay long-term in Thailand on a shoestring budget.

Why not reintroduce the minimum amount of cash requirement?

Your not far off the mark. How many regular tourists would have a "holiday" that lasts 45 days? Even 30 would be sufficient it would only mostly people trying to game the system who would need a 45 day visa.
