I'm guessing that you want to pop back to the UK, have the treatment done "Free" on the NHS (despite not being entitled to it) & then return "home" to Thailand... You can see why somebody might not have too much sympathy about you not being able to get back in after declaring yourself to be repatriating to the UK.... If this is the case, do the smart thing and book a one-way flight & arrange somewhere to stay for 6 months.

I doubt many "were married and you could have done the same if you wanted"..... Just to get a visa......

Do you know all the circumstances of the poster?  So how do you know he  "could have done the same if you wanted."

There are many reasons possible for why he didn't get married at the time you suggest.....

This forum would be better sticking to facts and opinions which are supported by evidence not someone commenting on an unknown (to him) circumstances and what others "should have done." 

In any case it is NOT helpful to comment on "should have dones"...you probably have many!

Foreigners returning to Thailand have to have, inter-alia, a Negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours of departing from their origin.

Thai nationals do not...... So the Thais on repatriation flights can pass the virus to other Thais and the foreigners on board which then shows up later on the first test in quarantine.

And the still unanswered question.....why are Thais allowed to get on repat flight untested for the virus????????

So what type of Visa did the Qatari man and his sons have?

Business? Investment? Medical? Resident?

Tourist not yet supposed to be allowed!

Paz, I get a bit fed up with the snide comments on this forum when people post something meant to help.

If you had spent a millisecond researching the 24 hour clock you would have seen ther is indeed 24:00 to distinguish between start and end of a particular day/date.

I was indeed an airline captain with a major airline and can do without your questioning my credentials without any evidence, you sorry man.

Sorry to contradict Ubonjoe from whom I have learnt so much on this forum.

00:00 and 24:00 are not quite the same thing on a 24 hour clock. 00:00 is the start of a day and 24:00 the end.

This is why most airlines avoid this time for schedules choosing 23:55 on 19th or 00:05 0n 20th.

(Ex airline pilot, very used to 24 hour clock)

Actually to make it clear I think Joe means expiry is at 24:00 on the 19th on a 24 hour clock. i.e. must leave BEFORE 00:00 on 20th.
