Non-O retirement Visa renewal
To do an annual extension renewal as in your case for the second time the 800,000THB needs to have been there all year (except for 5-6 months when it can fall back to 400,000THB). You said you only had 800,000 since 4-Jan this year and nothing before that if I read you correctly.

- Leaving with 500 000 the in Cash
What normal person walks around with half a million dollars cash on them?- Overstayed by 7 months.
If you've been here 16 years as you say, you should know the overstay rules are quite clear and posted on various immigration sites. I even have to sign a document to say I am aware of them every year I do an annual extension. Don't you do the same?- 90 days nightmare
So you restart the whole Non Imm visa process and your first yearly extension every visit to the country you mean? That sounds mental.- Two Estonians fined for smoking on Finnair flight into Bangkok
There's a coincidence!- Thailand braces for influx of 100,000 Myanmar refugees
The photo is not even related to the story, its of another Myanmar junta atrocity on the other side of the country.- Thailand braces for influx of 100,000 Myanmar refugees
Countries like China and Thailand are funding the illegal Myanmar junta with the spoils of the energy sector to feed their own greedy nations. This is off the blood of innocent oppressed Myanmar citizens. Until these two foreign countries sort their act out, they will pay the price of the refugee crisis - probably with small change from their energy gains, but the loss of reputation will linger much longer.- Proof of last years income

Probably have to get used to it. For any computer screen work progressive lens will be painful to use. For everything else progressives should be fine. I always carry both around. I also never buy local, online Zenni is cheaper and good quality.- Turning 50 next year, what to do about visa
I have never used an agent and my sleep is perfect.- Frozen Shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)
I went to Bamrungrad with a frozen shoulder about 13 years ago for a second opinion after another hospital in Bangkok recommended 10,000 USD surgery. Bamrungrad recommended physio only and after about 6 weeks it was all cleared up. The pain came back about 2 years later in my other shoulder, and I just repeated the physio I had learned before at Bamrungrad and fixed myself. It has been 10 years free of shoulder pain ever since until now. There are YouTube videos on how to treat yourself as well.- Latest docs required for ext of stay based on retirement

- Fallen 'Crypto King' Sam Bankman-Fried gets for 25 years for fraud
Tom Sosnof of Tastytrade put it best: Last week, the FTX saga mercifully came to an end. Sam Bankman-Fried was finally sentenced. At last, MIT fundraisers can rejoice. Hopefully, aside from the obligatory 60 Minutes prison interview and the Michael Lewis made-for-TV movie, we never have to hear or read about SBF again. But was justice served? SBF for sure doesn’t think he’s done. Also, he probably still believes he didn’t do anything wrong. I am convinced he saw himself as a modern day Robinhood and believed his altruism would protect him from any wrongdoing. Nothing could be further from the truth. SBF’s thievery and the criminality of his organization emboldened the SEC and other regulatory bodies to essentially shut down trading in all but a few of the largest cryptocurrencies. This ultimately cost self-directed investors hundreds of billions of dollars in capital appreciation. It also set the financial industry back by killing start-up valuations, destroying the flow of new investment capital, stifling new tech innovation, and worst of all, limiting what products and strategies individual investors could use to participate in the digital asset marketplace.
