ubonjoe thanks so a non ( o ) visa, i want one but surely it does not matter if im married to a thai or not, a non ( o ) for anyone is valid for 1 year,
is that correct ?
-
with UK passport you get 30 days when entering at the land border without visa (border run).
With Irish passport only 15 days.
really ? i thought both uk/ireland were allowed 30 days entry at airport. just wondering if an irish citizen had more of an advantage over a uk citizen in applying for visa and length of stay etc.
i am married to a thai, i have a daughter to her. i am 47 years old ( not 50 for retirement visa ) i am just having some difficulties here in uk at the moment ( no work etc etc ) and fancy getting away from here for a few months , am even thinking of cambodia for a few months.

i am dual national of ireland and uk. i hold both passports. if i want to stay in thailand for more than 1 year i apply for a non (o) visa if im correct and that gives me 12 months plus 3 months total 15 months ? say i used my irish passport is it the same process to apply to thai consulate in ireland where i would get the same length of stay as if i used or went the uk route ?

ive drunk for years, i drink every night in uk, though recently i went to thailand and drunk only beer chang for 10 days , hardly eating much but ive returned and noticed i have put a lot of weight on around my middle/ belly. i allways drink leo in thailand with no weight gain, i allways drink budweiser or carlsberg in uk without weight gain .
stay away from the beer chang guys.

If she needs botox, time to get a new one, younger version
oh........if it were that easy ;-)

ok just to add, thailand is actually no less expensive thanhere in the UK to have this treatment. i called a clinic ( dermatologist operating 25 years ) they said for forehead / stress lines / frown lines plus eye area and crow feet it would be a total of £350.000 . seems it would be around 16-000 thb in bkk and patts area. so its around same price so i will tell her to get it done in UK .
we have a ladyboy friend, ladyboy has been living in uk back and forward she is only 21 . she has been getting botox for a few years now and before botox her face was not as womanly, more stress lines / furrows etc on forehead. also our ladyboy friend says there was a place across rd from tuk com that done it for 8.000 thb .
-
One word: "Don't"
ok .....then explain why ?
-
you can get cheap but good !! and i probably worded that wrong anyway, you can get less expensive treatment , if you shop around ;-)
sheryl thankyou for your info, two doctors names you gave me give me a quote of around 16000 baht for forehead and eyes ...it is 250 baht per unit, is this ok ?
it was an estimated quote.
-
it has to be the best and cheapest im afraid. anyone have a price list ?

if you consider i have 3.3 m in kasikorn and 4m in krungsi and a few more quid waiting to be either sent over or spent here in uk depending on markets then yes i think i have posted a very valid question a********e.
Now. I rarely see anyone post actual numbers but when I do I believe he's attempting to boast.
Son, you'll have to come up with a lot bigger numbers than that to impress some of us here.

The gold cost me 62.000 bath. I brought it as gift into dublin got stopped. Customs fined me etc for not declaring it. It was gift for wife and in box with reciept. I told customs it was gift they told me i should declare any goods over 430 euro when entering eu ( c**ts) slapped me with fee of 800 euro.

Need decent room with pool over christmas period for 2 weeks. Any suggestions ?
-
Bought wifey a 3 baht necklace for Christmas. Stopped at Dublin customs they took it off me. Never ever entered my mind to declare it. I had to pay an extra 780 euro . Gutted !!! So just beware about bringing your gifts out of Thailand.

It all goes on container size and distance. Just pack it to the hilt. Lots of companies about probably by word of mouth though
