If you have funds available then take out a joint deposit account for 1.6 million. Immigration will happily accept it.

Am I being naive but I have always thought that paying an agent to provide the required 800,000 was illegal because it involves some collusion with an immigration officer. For years it seems to me it was referred to on a wink wink nudge nudge basis but now it is openly talked about as a legal option. Can someone please set me straight.

Can anyone give a recommendation for Roojai car insurance. They offer significantly higher personal accident cover than other companies but on the other hand they impose a 3,000 baht excess payment. (which I don't object to). I'm more concerned about their speed of response to a call for help. Thankyou.

I subscribe to HD prime tv for about 400 baht per month. This gets me all uk, US French etc tv channels also all live sport, Sky, BT sport, euro sport etc. Programmes also available on catch-up if timing is not right. I'm very happy.

My wife and I have a joint deposit account of 1 million 600 thousand to cover my 800,000 annual retirement extension. As this account is in 2 names would that mean government deposit protection of 2,000,000. Or is this just wishful thinking. Thankyou
