The plans that cover covid-19 are the safe travels plans.  Note that you must pre-certify in the case of covid-19 coverage (that is, you call the insurance company first before seeking testing or treatment).

Safe Travels Outbound Cost Saver will cost $101 and Safe Travels Outbound will cost $118 for three months coverage with same $500,000 maximum and $250 deductible.

To purchase the Safe Travels Outbound Cost Saver plan, use the link below:

there were a few other carriers with travel health insurance for shorter terms that would cover covid19.  two to four weeks cover (with other coverages for tourism included) was around $50.

Thanks for that, will take a look. Am currently locked in NZ and so far tried many outfits including AXA Thailand all saying "no way".

  2. I've got a LINE question for someone who knows.

"Often having changed phones, get an email from LINE with a code and saying enter it into LINE within a certain time. Be damned if I can see where to enter it. Anyway, seem to get by without it. What's it all about ??

well that's going to help tourism

I am all for the balance of nature and that kind of stuff and I know that there are some issues with interference with certain creatures

I have trouble figuring how the mosquito fits in to any category that benefits anything or would impact the ecology if they were gone - they breed suck blood spread disease and viruses then die

I remember years ago reading about how scientists could introduce a genetically modified male or female that could spread a mutation and stop them dead in the water - why have they not done that, why have they not wiped them out, all they do is spread disease and death

Are drug companies gaining somehow - is it population control

just wipe them out - I hate them

Unless I am wrong they offer absolutely nothing to the balance of nature

    wipe them out

The only insects I think have any use are bees and butterflies, what the hell good do any others do ?

    and RBS

what is it with Brit banks, me friends and relatives have had trouble after trouble with HS and SC admittedly Singapore branches., and way back the Pom owner of a resort in Chiangmai I knew, finally after being driven nuts had to fly back to the UK to get some of his funds. I deal with BBL and Krungsri and have found them best even over Kasi and SCB who I dealt with for many years.

I had the same 3 banks as you. What I found is what was good service years ago faded away with management at the branch changes.  First I axed Kbank, then recently SCB. After 12 years I am a fan of Bangkok bank, they try by having at least some tellers speaking and UNDERSTANDING English and their service  and costs beats my HSBC banks in Australia by miles.

    anything beats hsbc

  6. I've bought a lot of Thai avos from around the country, never disappointed with those at Doi Muser, on the road from Tak to Mae Sot, got some from Makro Chantaburi 2 months back., perfect. Think its luck of the draw, but reckon Makro Pattaya area and elsewhere probably get a lot not mature, and then also do the "no no" keeping them refrigerated.
