  1. Need help submitting the form.

I opened the fill-able PDF and entered my banking info, validated the form, signed it with my secure PIN. But when I click on the "SUBMIT" button I get this message:

"You must first log into the BSA E -Filing application in order to submit this form. Once logged in, you may re-open this form and submit".

I was logged into the website. Any ideas on what I am missing here?

    Thanks,

    Chonabot,

I am sorry to hear he did a runner, these types of bad apples can give Xpats a bad name. Perhaps, we can list the name of the Shelter Org that your wive volunteers / works with. I would be more than happy to make a modest donation. This way, maybe we can get something positive out of these events, and the threadsmile.png

    Cheers,

  3. chonabot,

Not to detract from the primary topic, I would like to first offer my sincere Thanks to your wife and the charity for their compassion.

Regarding the request, just a name should suffice to verify his claims, I should not need any further info in most cases. Better to reply via my PM I sent than to post names here.

chonabot" The problem was the fact that there was no-one with a decent command of English in the Hospital and Police, they needed to know who he was and why he was there."

While I cannot speak for the following organization, as I am not an official member:

However; I do know that they provide very good charity to US Vet's along with Thai citizens. And I am fairly certain they would remind the gentleman of what being a 'Quit Professional" is all about if he has been acting untoward or unruly to those who have been trying to help help him.

  4. Thanks everyone - usually I would not post this here as there are too many piss takers on TV these days but I was happy to read some nice responses.

TP - yes life is good for us so far - anytime you are in this neck of the woods please let me know !

I will admit, I was taking the piss a bit in my previous reply. I apologize. Sounds like you have a great wife. Cheers,

    WS.

Edit: FYI, the PM was not piss taking.

  5. Kasikorn has a Basic Accident Plan and the Accident Protect Plus includes life insurance (must hold a Kbank Account).

The Basic plan is a 500Bht yearly premium for a whopping 1,000 baht of coverage - Not worth it IMHO!!!

I opted for the Accident Protect Plus plan, a brief summery of the "Plus" plan premiums; 2,500 Baht/year for single or 4,700 Baht/year Family.

    Brief summary of Plus Plan coverage (single);

    1. Loss of Life/Total Permanent Disability - while traveling on public vehicle, and while travel abroad (outside public vehicle) = 3 mill Baht.

    2. Loss of Life/Loss of hand, foot or sight or Total Permanent Disability - General Accident = 1 mill Baht - Riding or traveling by Motorcycle (must be legal licensed) = 300,000 baht - by Murder or assault = 300,000 baht.

    3. Loss of Life/Loss of hand, foot or sight or Total Permanent Disability from Terrorism = 300,000 baht.

    4. Medical Expense per Accident = 50,000 baht

    5. Daily Hospital Admission Benefit, max 365 days per accident = 1,000 Baht.

After you apply, it will take 1-2 weeks to receive your card. If going to a non-governmental hospital just show your card, if going to a government hospital you will have to pay out of pocket and save receipts for reimbursement.

Side note; When I received the full benefits contract in written Thai w/ portions translated into English. After reading the translated version (I cannot read Thai), it stated that Motorcycle riding and travel was excluded. I went back into the branch to clarify if this was a typo or possibly translated incorrectly, as the brief Benefits Coverage paper they showed me when I purchased clearly stated it was covered.

They called the head Branch in BKK and assured me 100% that the Motorcyclist is covered as long as you have a proper Thai License. Not sure if an IDP would suffice?

    Cheers, WS

Edit: I could not figure out how to attach a PDF file, so i typed it out. Any tips on how to attach a PDF?- could not find in a forum search..

  6. I have been using a TRUE Sim card for a few years now. It is an older SIM card that does not support 3g, only EDGE/GPRS.

I would like to keep my original cell number, but use an AIS Sim card to use in my Android phone for occasional data and email.

Is this possible to do? And where to go in Pattaya to do it?

    Thanks,

    WS

  8. As the overall subject has to do with Marriage, I thought the questions was relevant. I was attempting to possibly learn a little more about a subject that I still do not have a firm conviction on, and can see valid arguments on both sides.

I guess I will sit on the fence a bit longer. My apologies if it came off as a troll post, as that was not my intention.
