Looks to me like 'anyone' was disagreeing with the fact of the matter - that Springsteen was proven to be well under the legal limit - a fact that 'anyone' chose to ignore because they disagree with Springsteen on other matters.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento - Pelé
I met him once in Brazil, late 90’s, he came to the town where I was living to visit a friend ( Elzo Coelho , who played in the 86 World Cup ).
Word spread that he was in town and the hordes descended on Elzo’s small football training camp where a barbecue was planned.
I was invited ( friend of a friend of a friend ) and got to compliment and shake his hand before he was whisked away by his security and the barbecue was a bit of a non event ????
I often met and drank with one of my footballing idols, Kerry Dixon. I lived just around the corner from his pub in Dunstable for a few years. I have to admit though that you've raised the bar.........

is this where his daughter was raped?
I was trying to think of the title a few days ago.
If you include being pimped out and drugged up to beyond the point where you have the capacity to consent or not as rape (and why wouldn't you), then yes.

Once in they could have just done a mass 'die-in' and chained themselves together like the 'lefties' do and start making demands, they were either unwilling or too unorganized to do that or they were listening to Trump. Next time they won't be so rudderless and disorganized. If the regime in the USA doesn't fix it's screwed up election processes and start delivering legitimate elections to the standard they used to have, the capitol will get another mob of 'insurrectionists'. Just like the red-shirts did here, the second time they came they were much more organized and did the big 2010 central Bangkok takeover.
It's an easy fix- 1)no unsolicited mail-in ballots; 2)voting machines required to print a paper receipt.
Stop spreading misinformation!
The 2020 election was the most secure in U.S. history.
Fact.
Official.
If you don't like what you would portray as "left wing" MSM, here's a link to Donald's (at the time) fave channel Fox news: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/2020-election-secure-history-federal-security
Seriously, at least try to rise above the lies and poisoned agenda.

How can anybody be so thick that after three months of having the facts explained to them, they still fail to understand the simple truths of the matter?
Trump stupidly (stupidly because there's a pandemic) told his voters not to use mail in votes. They didn't. They voted in person, on the day. That's why he had a lead when those votes were counted.
Biden, more intelligently and compassionately told his voters to use mail in ballots. They did. Those votes were counted and declared later.

Here's one that we don't have to wait for, complete first season available from the pirates.
Tell Me Your Secrets follows "a trio of characters, each with a mysterious and troubling past: Emma (formerly known as Karen Miller) is a woman who once looked into the eyes of a dangerous killer, John is a former serial predator desperate to find redemption, and Mary is a grieving mother obsessed with finding her missing daughter. As each of them is pushed to the edge, the truth about their pasts and motives grows ever murkier, blurring the lines between victim and perpetrator."

.....speaking of new seasons starting next month, the second season of Kevin Bacon's Boston based cop show City on a Hill commences on the 28th. The first season received "generally favorable reviews" according to Metacritic, which is reflected in its IMDb score of 7.5.
"The series is set in Boston in the early 1990s when the city was rife with violent criminals, emboldened by local law enforcement agencies in which corruption, tribalism, and "taking it to the street" were the norm—until it all suddenly changed. This is a fictional account of what was called the "Boston Miracle". The change agent is District Attorney Decourcy Ward (Aldis Hodge), who comes from Brooklyn and forms an unlikely alliance with Jackie Rohr (Kevin Bacon), a corrupt yet venerated FBI veteran who is deeply invested in maintaining the status quo. Together they take on a family of armored car robbers from Charlestown (Jonathan Tucker, Mark O'Brien, and Jimmy Cummings) in a case that grows to encompass Boston's citywide criminal justice system."

I'm really into Queen of the South at the moment. It's on Netflix. It's much more action and thrill than the trailer shows. Give it a try. Good acting too. It's a lot like those Narcos series as well as Breaking Bad in a way but with a female.
I agree, Mrs BM and I enjoy watching this, she keeps asking me when the next series is coming, the latest gossip is "some time in June".
Fortunately we won't have to wait that long for the new season of Sons of Anarchy spin-off "Mayans MC", which is due on the 16th of March, you'll probably like that if you like QotS.

Good news for fans of the excellent Mr. Mercedes, season 3 is out on the 4th of March. I really love this show like a book that you just can't put down. 7.9 on IMDb and rightly so IMHO. Some great acting and a strong storyline if the first two seasons are anything to go by.

Here's one coming next month that should tempt Will and the rest of you who can't get enough of murder, mayhem, psychopaths, blood and dismembered bits.
"Six-part docuseries on one of America's most notorious killers previously thought to be a well-respected neighbour in his community who often dressed up as a clown to entertain children."

Right...another way to look at the situation in Thailand is to compare Covid deaths and road deaths...
First six weeks in Thailand
Covid less than five... (don't know the exact number)
Road deaths more that 2,000
Billions lost to Covid mitigation including stupid lockdowns...and draconian immigration policies...but Thailand isn't alone in this...
Yes, because it is 100% true that road deaths are contagious, must be true because I read it somewhere on the internet.
I wonder whether you call lockdowns "stupid" because you don't understand the science or because you simply choose to ignore it.
You conspiracy sheep are so funny at times.

A reminder that Season 4 of Snowfall is debuting now so the first episode should be available later today.
"Set Set in Los Angeles in 1983, the series revolves around the first crack epidemic and its impact on the culture of the city. The series follows the stories of several characters whose lives are fated to intersect: 20-year-old drug dealer Franklin Saint, Mexican luchador Gustavo "El Oso" Zapata, CIA operative Teddy McDonald, and a Mexican crime boss's niece, Lucia Villanueva."

A few episodes in and rest assured @CharlieH this reboot is not a carbon copy of the Chuck Norris show, so no roundhouse kicks involved. It's closer to "Longmire" than to the original Walker, Texas Ranger, IMO.

Hi. I live in Pattaya and I have a UK driving licence for car and motorbike but no International Driving Licence. I wish to make first time applications for Thai driving licences. I would be grateful based on recent experience if any one can advise on any of the following questions regarding my proposed applications. Thank you very much in advance for any advice you can give.
1. Does the local Land Transport office insist on you having an International Driving Licence?
2. Is there any way for me to get an International Driving Licence in Thailand. I have looked on the net but found no helpful information.
3. Can anyone based on their own experience recommend a reputable agent who could assist me?
I can clear up the first one - no, IDP's (Permits, not Licences) can only be obtained in the country where your licence was issued.
Even if you didn't have a licence from home you could still get a Thai one by taking their test.

It's a very good show, almost up there with the excellent Bosch imho. Oh and there's a tenuous link between those two shows - the talented Titus Welliver aka Bosch starred in the film The Town which of course like City on a Hill is about a ruthless gang of armed robbers in Boston.
No. I've not seen The Following yet, it's on my very long waiting list as is the highly rated Yellowstone starring "the other Kevin". I agree on Bacon, good things can happen when film stars hit the small screen, but it's not always the case.
