Obviously you can give it or not give it, i think everyone knows that

I always start out saying in my broken Thai a do not want to give my phone or email to buy something - I then get a deer in the headlights smile and silence until I relent and punch in bogus info... I have lived here long enough to know it's worthless to make a huff about things and just think of the easiest workaround...

  2. You might think out of the box...

I replaced my master bath hot water point with a hot water tank (see below)... For my install I placed the tank in the attic just above the shower area but many can put it on the outside wall, under counter or above the toilet as you usually see in Vietnam... The unit only need wiring for 1,200 watts (it just has a plain wall plug and we rewired the old wiring into new receptical box in the attic... I chose a 50l as this seemed to suit our needs (two people/showers)but you can get larger units

does anyone know which of the replaceable filters are best for the pollution here?

They all do a similar job of removing the PM2.5 matter... You might opt for the formaldehyde filter if you are in a newly constructed condo/house as it would in theory help remove the off gassing of many modern furniture & building materials... But personally I think they are all the same and just trying to up sell you to a more expensive filter

Xiaomi now offers an Air Purifier 3, which is comparable to the 2s in size and price, but covers 20% more area with some other minor improvements.  The 3 could compete with the Pro at a lower price point.

I believe the 2s, 3 and Pro all use the same filter so other than a modified fan air thruput at the high setting they would seem to be the same?...

Also if you order get the global version which has a US plug

  5. Ive had the Xaiomi cube one for 3 years. Works great and have it outside I like that you can check it with the app... it does not have temp or humidity but Xaiomi sells a sensor for that too or a more complex unit

Sadly it is reading over 100 right now ;-(
