Nitrogen in your new tires?
I assume not. I got the tyres at B-Quik and I didn’t request nitrogen. I researched it a little and there are no big advantages to having nitrogen filled tyres It seems.

The "normal" air we breath is 78% nitrogen, at least they didn't charge you for it ?
There was no charge on the invoice for it.

Honda have just told me that the pink paint on the wheel nut was to indicate that the tyres had been filled with nitrogen. I didn’t ask for this, so I guess it’s something they just do. I had all four tyres replaced the following day so it didn’t last long!

Some of these people could at least TRY something else and not wait endlessly for the foreigners to return.
Near where I work about a year ago, I noticed a young girl started sell freshly pressed orange juice. She obviously didn't have much money as this was done on a sheet on the ground and she only had a few oranges. Anyway, as time progressed I noticed that she bought a table and then a glass cabinet and so on. I sometimes buy from her and she started trying to speak English with me. She told me that she lost her job due to Covid, (She didn't say what the job was and I didn't ask).
Now she has someone to help her and has a second stall not so far from the first.
I know not everyone can do that, but some could at least try.
She has ‘som’ hope.
I’ll get my coat.

Looks like vandalism to me! Glad my Honda dealers have never pulled that stunt. If it was meant as QC, like in factories, it would be a dot or line from a grease pencil. I would go back and ask them wt...f?
I’m not too perturbed as it’s easy to remove, but just curious that it’s the first time in five years that it’s happened (same dealer). I’m due to go back soon for a couple of new shock absorbers so I’ll ask then.

The whole of the top surface of the nut has been painted. I’ll post a photo tomorrow. It’s not a big issue, but I’m just very curious. Thanks for the replies.

Hello,
I’ve just got my car back from a service (Honda main dealer, and been there loads of times for a service) and when I got home I noticed one wheel nut on each wheel has a spot of bright pink paint on it, as have the brake callipers. Does anyone know what it’s for? I’m guessing it’s some sort of anti-tampering, or something. Thanks in advance.

maybe 25,000/69,000,000 dead on Thai roads.
maybe 3(unproven)/40,000,000 dead in UK from vaccine.
You're about 5,000 times more likely to die on a Thai road than AZ covid vaccine ! Does that means staying in forever until their is a vaccine for road safety ?
Have you ever thought it’s not about the number of people dying but the infrastructure not being able to cope with thousands upon thousands of people needing hospital treatment at the same time? Healthcare systems can’t cope logistically nor financially with this scenario, hence the need to stop the disease running rampant.

That should cover most.
It’s so sad to read, but oh so true.

Flaring banned of course in many countries.
Not in the UK as it’s still done near Southampton, at Fawley oil refinery.

Where , was their vaccine sourced , China .?
Could be from anywhere, as we wouldn’t necessarily be privy to that information.

IMHO I don’t think the government are taking this latest wave very seriously at all, and I wonder if it’s because they and their cronies have probably been vaccinated.

The guy must have some serious family interests in the tourism business, as for the last year he's been behaving much more like the Tourism Minister than the Health Minister.
Maybe that's because his family own Siam Cement Group (SCG) who have been awarded the contract to build the new terminals at the airport. Coincidence, of course.

Because they didn't join COVAX, and they are doing it for profit and not as a matter of public health.

Unfortunately, it's now inevitable that travel to Thailand will be banned from vaccinated countries or at least hotel quarantine at ones own expense back in their home countries.
Yes, I agree. I saw a survey the other day where 85% of people said they wouldn't travel to an unvaccinated country, even if they were vaccinated themselves. Thailand is messing this up big time.
