Thanks , I will check that out ,
the phone came from Amazon , when they had a sale earlier in the year .
I have slowly been going thru my Google Play list and downloading the apps I still use and leaving out a lot that I do not remember why I downloaded them !
I still am not using the new phone , except on WiFi ,
Anyway thanks for your thoughts , much better than Mr Google

what temp are you trying to be at ?
most Westerners seem to want 7-11 store temps which seem to be set at 20-22C
thats pretty hard to get to when its 35C or more outside

been using mine for a couple months to track my work van and a buddies classic old truck.
they work great but you need iPhone users nearby to "ping" its location. the Airtag only transmits 10 meter or so.

10-15 years ago I was told by a security expert that the CEO and all others in big meetings would leave their mobiles out of the meeting rooms because it was known that they were not secure , and that mics and cameras could be turned on remotely , and memory copied ,
This was way before anyone knew of Pegasus , and how many other programs are doing the same thing ?

There are some really strong metal snap rat traps you can buy down in the back streets of Chinatown , they are strong enough to take your finger off , they must have big rats down by the river !
also they have the metal cage traps , used one last night to catch a young possum and we relocated it today up by Beverly Hills !
i have not heard of the strobe light idea , what does it do to them and why do they not just come back when you stop using it ?
I have heard of using wall plaster and oatmeal as bait and keeping a bowl of water nearby , they drink the water and the plaster hardens.......
My Rats do not like peanut butter unless i have the wrong brand !
Good Luck

There is some Honda "chili" tape

I have one we put in my friends classic car and one I put in my car ,
he is going to do the same and put one in his and the extra for mine ,
then we can have 2 shots of getting a location , and if they find one they will probably not look for another one ,
it works pretty good , it not real time and but it has worked good so far ,
But we are tracking something big , no idea if you can find a lost purse if it ends up on the 3rd floor walk up in a dodgy part of town .
So far I am very happy for $29US

The OP wanted to learn about Apple Music.....
I guess because he could not be bothered to maintain his own thread, certain characters have taken it over..
I really do not know enough to ask smart questions ,
Its Thaivisa and there are always battles that creep into discussions ????
Now if I could find a link to some play lists that would be nice , I am still listening to AOL streaming that I recorded at Christmas 2007 , actually pretty good with maybe one commercial an hour ,
I just started recording the stream when I went to bed and stopped it in the morning , so about 8 hours worth ,
and it was at a low bit rate so it would fit on my 2GB MP3 player.
Yes I am simple , AM radio quality is good enough for my old ears.....

I took my AirTag for a ride on sunday , I was impressed how good it tracked , down to which parking space my car was parked ,
If go to my apple ID account on an iMac , will i be able to also track the AirTags that are on my account ?
I do not have an Apple computer but I would be good to know if I left my iPad at home I could use a friends to get into my Apple ID account ,
I bought another AirTag , activated it on my account and gave it to my friend to test , his kids have iPhones so it tracks to his house , now we will see what alarms ring and how long that takes , the final plan is to hide it in his classic car .
Whenever I get back to BKK I will bring put them on my suitcases and day pack.
Anyone else have one yet ?
cheers

Hi
I want to listen to the music on a MP3 player since I have limited data ,
I do have a Windows PC , but iTunes never worked that well on Windows ,
Anyway is there a place that has play lists ?
Thanks

I just got 6 months free Apple Music when I bought my Airtag , nice little extra ,
But what can I do with it ? ? ?
I have tried Spotify a few times and it was a lot of work to select music to play later ,
so are there any tricks to make Apple Music easy ? Is there a list of play lists that others have made up ?
Mostly listen to old Blues , old reggae , 80s New wave , 60s-70s Rock but not Heavy Metal,
And is there a way to record it to MP3 to use on an MPS player etc ,
I am not an apple guy , I have an ipad and now the Airtag , but the rest is Android ,
Thanks for your help , and if you want the same deal and are in the USA , the $29 Airtag includes 6 months Apple Music + apple News+

I have it in my car that is parked up the street and out of range from my ipad ,
just wondering if someone driving down that street will Identify it , and if I need to think how to mount it to have a better chance of an iphone user "pinging" the airtag ,
But so far I like it ????

Finally got around to setting it up......
at first it would not connect.......it may have been the 2 factor and that I did not have a password on my iPad ,
but it did not tell me that....
Anyway I changed the battery and then it seemed to connect , ????
First thing , its small, about an inch across (25mm) but thick enough that you would not want to sit on it in your wallet all day long ,
the "alarm sound" is not that loud , maybe thats because its in my hand , but it would be very hard to find your lost item outside if this is as loud as it gets , I plan on putting it in my car so we will see how many iPhone users are around the area.
Overall if it works as it should I will be real happy , it can track my car , if I am shipping a pallet I can put it inside with a return envelope and if I had a dog I could track it ????
More info after I play with it.....

I am in the USA right now.....
Well I got my Airtag , but have not been able to get it to sync yet ,
I think the battery is very low as the you can hardy hear the Beep !
There was a report that these were designed in 2019 but not put out to the public , so maybe the battery drained ?????
and it wants 2 factor , which i think I have set-up right but not sure ,
I will report once I get it going.....

if you have someone in the USA that you plan on seeing when you arrive you can order a Mint sim - 3 months/ 4gb a month , unlimited calls/ text for $30 on Ebay
They can buy it a month before you arrive and activate it when you get here ,
