Why did he not apply at home for 60day visa and then extend when here. He made it hard for himself. By the way, l've just arrived from NZ , received my 30day stamp with a very cordial smile and have a good stay. Only had to show passport, nothing else, no questions asked. All so easy ; )

And what was that situation 10yrs ago ? Just flew in last weekas tourist, no restrictions , just show passport. Stamped with a Smile. I was happy to return !

Just arrived Swampy from NZ. only needed to show passport and boarding pass for the flight l was on. First time back since covid halted travel. I was stunned how lmmigration attitude had changed towards tourists. No grumpy official giving You and Passport the 3rd degree. It was a breeze, not having to show outbound flight, hotel booking, vax doc, lns etc etc. Yes l know not required, but now a much more pleasant experience after long haul flight. Even got a 'Very Big' smile and welcome from Lady officer. Long may it last in the LO$
