  1. You must start plan to make a businesslike move.

To get to be a employee for major resorts , you must have:

    1. University degree.

    2. 5+ experience

3 Be prepared to work for 50.000 bt/month.

Just to get work permit, compete with 20 something from UK--US and other ones.

If you can speak 5+ languages you have a better chance.

Forget about being a English teacher, there's one TEFL teacher for every ten falang without job.

Sorry to bring your spirit down,

Come here and fix a job before you move, I did. :)

Is it realistic for us to find jobs in Samui ??

    Sorry, No, unless

If you speak 5+ languages, have Resort management+3 years and can take a 50.000Bt?month salary

  2. I don't use loyalty cards for two reasons:

    1) I have enough money to survive comfortably but do not have the time or patience to fool around with voucher and points, which are often too dam_n difficult to redeem (NEVER managed to redeem airmiles for example). Also I'm not sufficiently organized to carry three hundred different membership/stamp/sticker cards for everywhere I shop/eat.

    2) 'Loyalty' card is a misnomer - it is the vendor that should be loyal to ME not vice-versa and I don't want my purchasing decisions to be influenced by mythological points over clear pricing and service.

Just my point of view but, again, I don't have to count the satangs.

In Tops all the discounts are for spot card holders only.

  3. i will spend three weeks looking at long eared cows, buffalos, searching for thai goats, and dying from the humid heat after being here in dry desert heat the past few weeks.....

    bina

    israel

Count yourself lucky it's only 3 weeks you have to endure it. I believe the "long eared cows" are oxen.

Are you referring to Prince Charles pf England? :)
