Hi. Are you the biological father of an illegitimate child with a Thai biological mother?
-
Hi Joc. No, the biological father has no parental rights and custody just because his name is on the birth certificate. Under Thai law, the mother of the illegitimate child has sole parental right and custody unless the biological father goes to court to be recognized as the legal father and ask for parental rights and custody rights.

Hi denboy. You can file the divorce case by yourself. Then the court will summon your spouse in the last known address. If she doesn't appear, then the court will let you testify to prove desertion and that she can no longer be located as ground of your divorce.

Hi Mitsubishi. If you are an Australian citizen and you and your spouse agreed to divorce, you can also apply for a divorce online on joint application through your familycourt.gov.au website.

Baby Born - DNA Test Required and What Does Thai Government Provide ?
in Family and Children

Hi. There are private DNA testing clinics/hospitals, you can google them up. They would require conformity of the mother to DNA testing. For purposes of court proceedings, it would be best to go to government hospitals because there is a strict procedure to safeguard authenticity of the results.
