and their TV channels are like the Sky full Monty in the UK - hundreds of channels, loads of English movies, brilliant. Plus the connection including all wiring, decoder, router, cable from across the road etc all FREE.
I to have AIS and do not get hundreds of channels of TV. Could you explain this in greater detail.. As I see this and it does not seem worth it to me...http://www.ais.co.th/aisplay/en/package.html?Intcid=playapp-en-redirect

Hotels have a GM, General Manager certainly not a CEO. You will not talk to him or her but to the Reservations Manager. Who cancelled the booking the hotel directly or the booking agent. Simply query the one who did. Should be straight forward. I have had money returned a few times by Booking.com

Simply have a new interrogation with a competent and trained interrogation expert. Just pick him up and start. Please describe the beginnings of your stock portfolio? Pull out an Ipad or phone and log on to the SET and let him show how he traded? The guy would break or implicate himself very quickly. Now are the police willing to let go of one of their own to be a rare scapegoat?
Bottom line is he knows exactly where the money came from and its not stocks. He will slip up for sure. Not the sharpest tool in the shed already.

KIp has no value at all outside of Lao would be my opinion. Take what you can get or save them for your next trip.

32M baht is about USD$500K. Using your plan, you will fly there 50 times, 3 times a week for about 16 weeks? You may also attract immigration attention.
Better check your math, its just a bit under 1,000,000 at todays rates.

Buy your coffee to go at a good coffee shop then hit one of the Retox joints is probably your best bet. Dont be quite to picky would be my other advice. Most people are happy with close here as it is Thailand. Not Australia... Good luck.

You really need to be hired from abroad. The cost at NIST for those two youngsters is going to run you $20,000 usd per year to start. Other expenses on top of that as well. The top tier schools are all very expensive, and the areas you are looking to live are also top dollar. I think a lot more research is in order before you pack up and move over.

Riceberry in flavour is similar to SFOs Anchor Steam in taste and colour. rather enjoyable.
How long have you been away from the bay area and San Francisco? They are not similar at all, Anchor is not by any means a sweet beer, it is quite malty.

Unusual cold this year in Thailand and North America too. Certainly because of climate change (was it up or down?)
This is a normal Thai cool season when its hotter its because of climate change, just enjoy it. It always used to be like this.

If you want to make up a stew or a chunky chili you can use Thai beef as you will be braising it while it slow cooks. For cooking steaks or a roast break down and buy imported beef it can be found from 900 to 2000 baht a kilo. Well worth it all the way around.

I have to ask, are you as closed minded on other topics? What about the food you eat? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to ya from the tropics...

Cashing 100 dollar bills and depositing them are two very different things. To open a dollar account you first have to find a branch that has this type of account. Usually you need 1,000 dollars as a minimum opening amount. But to cash them most banks will but the rate is not that hot. Super Rich has many offices throughout Thailand offering the best rates. There is on in Future Park Prathum Thani on your way back to BKK from Ayuthaya.

For sure its a dodgy copy of Windows 8 in the computer. 99% of computers here come with fake software installed. Why do you think Thai universities are a breeding ground for viruses?

This guy, Blimp didnt work, but made money out of it check. Bomb detectors proven to not work, but money made check. Time for radar guns, inflate the price 10 fold check. Easy to see where the $$$ came from. Lol.

He would have to be in his 70s now. The guy is full of BS. Ran from the North to the South passing dead bodies, and then witnesses the US army intentionally harming soldiers while they are in the midst of battle. He needs to be called out on this.

Can't you understand what you read? Pam is his wife and they go /come to Thailand in April to be with the child during her holidays
hoping I was wrong what he was on about. I see it as the new husband and mother who left her child have little to say about what is going on.. I just hope it works out well for the daughter.

I have explained that given Pam is currently here in England with me (we usually go back to Thailand in April for her daughters school holidays) that she may want to get her sister and mum to try and find out what the options are before going back.
So she has been with you since April? If so school started back ages ago, then there has been an October break. Schools have been back in session for another month now.

Yes she is here on a 1 year ED visa studying at international school. She fits all the listed criteria but I cant find anything about age other than must be 18 for a car license.
Do you really want your daughter driving on Thai roads with Thai drivers at 15. Please think about that just a bit. Seems very reckless to me..

TTM must have been instrumental in formulating the new exise tax law, also they never criticized it before introduction.
So it looks like now they are surprised by how the market reacted. A TTM brand like LM goes from 87 to 99 Bt, but a Camel goes from wherever to 60Bt, makes the choice pretty easy for most smokers, quite predictable really.
Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to base a tax on the retail price, which is influenced by tax, which is influenced ... .
Sent from my ASUS_X008D using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile appI dont think you really understand what TTM is. LM has nothing to do with them..

I see. Today I'll go Cheng Wattana and ask them with associate degree can get work permit and apply non immigrant b visa or not.
Other choise like this I think. I search on internet for 1 year Non Immigrant 0 volunteer visa around 35,000 baht apply for this and I can get work permit from here because work as volunteer and they not asking for any degree. B
But problem is this if I apply this visa from agency in bangkok can I work in other province? Can I work any school in thailand?
Are you planning on teaching English? This is not a troll but a very serious post. There are way way too many unqualified teachers in Thai schools now.

Yes basically because the BTS is so popular...... You know the BTS, the one the embittered farang posters always told us that couldn't be built by Thais,
Then they told us no Thais would use...........
It confects up with the underground service....
You Know the one underground rail, that Farang posters told us couldn't be built by Thais..
And of course no one would use
...Well that now it goes out to one of Asia Busiest Airports
You know the Airport the one Farang...etc....etc....etc.....
./
Anyway hold this space.....
while the farangs tell us about the new High speed Rail link
You Know the one that Thais could never build.....etc etc
.
Torment pessimists by topping up their glass while their backs are turned...
What a joke, which BTS line runs out to the Airport? Lots of bitching but not much fact...

Senior education official confesses to stealing Bt88m from funds for at-risk children

This is the problem with Thai education. Thailand spends as much or more on education than most countries. But most of that money does not get to a large number of schools. It is simply siphoned off level by level. Here was a upper mid range job. It is just so sad to think the corrupt will even steal from educational funds. Its a well know fact among most all Thai people. Hence the rush to get your kids into the "better" schools and find one that is getting some share of the money at least. Forget about it in 90% of rural Thai schools. Where the kids need the education the most.
